I'll admit that it's hard to say much was learned about SC's offense, but the defense was every bit as good as advertised. Bad opponent or not, it was impressive. Considering who the teams' opponents were, USC showed some things, and I don't think you can learn much of anything from a D1 power beating up on an AA opponent.
