Guess the Marlins’ Attendance Last Night!
Baseball September 4th. 2008, 11:45am
A few options are below, as tallied by the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel:
Joe Nelson, Marlins pitcher: 418 (guess)
Media members: 589 (guess)
Announced paid attendance: 11,211 (enter laugh here)
On the plus side, last night’s unofficial tally is up significantly from last September’s 375-person turnout. Other baseball ruminations:
- Carol Pavano: Two wins in three starts. Get that man a contract!
- Mets host the Phillies for three, and once again, have their aces throwing
- Dodgers hosts the D-Bags for three this weekend, hoping to erase a 1.5 game deficit in the NL West. Too bad they have to face Arizona’s three aces.
- Chicago hahahahaha Cubs hahahahahaha
