Can’t believe what I miss when I’m on the golf course.

This reminds me of the Harry Caray story…

The Setup:

Some random April Cubs’ game. Its rather nipply and windy in Wrigley. There are scattered fans in the stadium.

The Couple:

A sly cameraman find the rare hot chick at a Cubs game in cold weather. She is snuggling up to a guy, likely to stay warm in the cold weather. The cameraman sneaks several looks at them, one of which they were stealing a quick kiss.

The Showstopper:

Harry, evidently looking at the monitor in between ice cold Budweisers, notices their smooching and states in a slurring way that only Harry can state… “I get it nowwww. He kisses her on the strikes and she kisses him on the balls.”

Steve Stone sat in stunned silence. My college roommates and I paused for a few seconds then laughed for hours…

That camera guy, announcer, and the producer who let this get on TV are going to have some explaining to do. I can’t imagine the network brass will be pleased with the fallout they’re sure to get.
