As wonderful as Tom Brady might seem, he’s still singular.
September 8th, 2008 at 3:51 PM
Since when is King slobbing a knob something new?
September 8th, 2008 at 3:51 PM
Even discounting sports, if the only new movie in theaters has as idiotic a title as “Bangkok Dangerous”, nobody’s making any money.
September 8th, 2008 at 3:52 PM
This is a horrible picture.
Way to go Nick Cage.
September 8th, 2008 at 3:52 PM
The opening sex scene/nudity from Entourage was fantastic.
September 8th, 2008 at 3:52 PM
You’ve heard of miracles? THIS is a miracle
w/o a doubt
September 8th, 2008 at 3:52 PM
Daniel LaRusso’s name should never be uttered with Lance Armstrong. DL kicks people’s ass at the annual Simi Valley Karate Tournament. He makes out with “Allie with a Y.” Douchebag Armstrong made the stupid rubber wrist band popular, and I am fairly sure he had a hand in Croc’s popularity.
September 8th, 2008 at 3:53 PM
Calling Entourage the male Sex In the City is so fucking stupid.
I saw Tropic Thunder Friday. Two thumbs up.
September 8th, 2008 at 3:54 PM
vinny should keep the beard.
GO FEDERER
September 8th, 2008 at 3:55 PM
Also did anybody notice King’s bizarre rant against people who handle K balls and the defensive communications helmet? I’m pretty sure the NFL can handle that $80K/year when it makes something like $2 billion in TV revenue a year.
September 8th, 2008 at 3:55 PM
Everybody Loves Raymond was the white Cosby Show
September 8th, 2008 at 3:55 PM
summer movies: tropic thunder > pineapple express
September 8th, 2008 at 3:57 PM
I saw Pineapple and was underwhelmed.
September 8th, 2008 at 3:58 PM
I have yet to see tropic thunder or Dark Knight because I hate going to the movies. Do I need to go see these in the theater or can I wait.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:00 PM
Nick, if you weren’t stoned then that’s probably why.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:00 PM
Step away from the computer and go see Dark Knight in Theaters
September 8th, 2008 at 4:00 PM
Peter King can suck it. What’s with saying Carson Palmer belongs in Cutlerville? What the hell does that mean? Because they don’t jump around like little girls playing hop-scotch after throwning a routine TD, ala #4?
September 8th, 2008 at 4:01 PM
Jim, I thought the same thing, so I looked up the NFL’s revenues for last year. It was $7 billion. but PK would never put something in proper context if it threatened to blow up his point.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:01 PM
Entourage = (Sex in the City – Mind of the Married Man * John in Cincinnati) / Arli$$
September 8th, 2008 at 4:01 PM
@ CRM
does that make geroge lopez the mexican cosby show?
September 8th, 2008 at 4:02 PM
Or just read the abdriged Dark Knight script here.

Is the R-word anything like the L-word?
September 8th, 2008 at 4:02 PM
Marriage is like a tense, unfunny version of Everybody Loves Raymond, only it doesn’t last 22 minutes. It lasts forever. – Pete, Knocked Up
September 8th, 2008 at 4:02 PM
He was just saying he doesn’t think Palmer belongs the discussion of upper echelon QB’s right now, he is more at the level of a Cutler.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:02 PM
I still can’t believe Jevan Snead is white
September 8th, 2008 at 4:03 PM
Wait, does Palin want her family to be part of her campaign? No? OK, the first step should be for her to give her delivery details to the Times. Makes perfect sense.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:03 PM
Mind of Mencia is the German Ben Stiller Show
September 8th, 2008 at 4:03 PM
Is the R-word anything like the L-word?
Retard and Im not sure what the L-word is.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:05 PM
I just got Wagner’d
September 8th, 2008 at 4:05 PM
Turns out Billy Wagner is not out for the season.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:05 PM
I just got Billy Wagnered. He must be taking the end of his career hard.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:05 PM
Wait, does Palin want her family to be part of her campaign? No? OK, the first step should be for her to give her delivery details to the Times. Makes perfect sense.
Bitch wont even talk to the press. Shes hiding shit.
CRM-Carlos Mencia is a POS.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:06 PM
Clown, were you Robert Wagner’d?
September 8th, 2008 at 4:07 PM
Mind of Mencia is the turd that doesn’t go down after one flush.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:08 PM
Wait, does Palin want her family to be part of her campaign? No?
She can’t name check her son going to Iraq and her special needs child in speeches, but refuse to discuss her family further. Life just doesn’t work that way.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:09 PM
cbh, Hart to Hart was where I learned all of my cunning linguistics.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:10 PM
So are Obama’s children fair game since he trotted them out on Entertainment Tonight?
September 8th, 2008 at 4:11 PM
I would guess that the reason Mind of Mencia is still on the Air is because all of the Mexicans watch it. But does Comedy Central come in on SAP?
/Nickp
September 8th, 2008 at 4:11 PM
cbh, sounded to me like a back hand to Cutler
September 8th, 2008 at 4:11 PM
I know I’m in the minority here, but everytime I see pictures of those Entourage guys I want to kill kittens indiscrimately and very inhumanely. I saw that Adrian Grenier show on Planet Green a few weeks back and I really want to take a crowbar to his johnson. What a completely self-asorbed, smug prick.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:11 PM
Triston it was, but has Cutler done anything to deserve heaps of praise?
September 8th, 2008 at 4:12 PM
I always thought holding a newborn baby in front of 5000 GOP supporters was a good way to avoid media scrutiny on said baby.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:13 PM
Hart to Hart was on network tv. how did you learn female oral stimulation from that?
September 8th, 2008 at 4:13 PM
cbh, I agree but nobody’s calling him great. They’re simply saying he has great potential.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:13 PM
Jay Cutler was on ET?
September 8th, 2008 at 4:14 PM
per peter king, because president brady is shot in the first week of the season, he’s now on a personal crusade to see to it that the nfl doesn’t extend the season… but playing four preseason games is ok???
i’m sorry, but he’s losing it. could be he’s got his head in the tv studio and popcorn too much?
September 8th, 2008 at 4:14 PM
What is she supposed to do, keep the kid locked in the car? Media scrutiny of a newborn child. You are unreal.
How about some scrutiny of BHO’s kids and what they were learning all those times in the Good Reverend’s “God Damn America” Church?
September 8th, 2008 at 4:15 PM
I really want to take a crowbar to his johnson.
Regardless of the level of hatred, no man should ever be allowed to do this to another man. Unless, it’s a situation similar to Ving Rhames in Pulp Fiction.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:16 PM
Jay Cutler was on south park
September 8th, 2008 at 4:17 PM
Media scrutiny of a newborn child.
Where is the scrutiny? The linked NYT article is a puff piece making Palin out as super mom.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:17 PM
i knew a guy who went to Sundance a few years back (after 2 seasons of Entourage) and met Adrian Greniere and said he was the nicest and most chill actor he met there. he said they went back and forth buying rounds and shooting pool in a little hole in the wall bar there. so i don’t have a problem with Greniere, but after everything i’ve about him, it makes it really hard to like the guy.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:18 PM
man, wagner really did tear up his elbow…
September 8th, 2008 at 4:18 PM
Um, it was a direct quotation of Cool Rick’s comment.
By all means, though, keep the Palin smears coming.
The latest one: debunked
.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:18 PM
Wait, did Palin blast the media for covering her kids? Then she shows them off like show ponies? You cant have it both ways.
Does the RNC have a permanent blogger assigned to drivebys?
And Dude, seriously, have you watched any tape of her pastor?
September 8th, 2008 at 4:19 PM
@August-agreed. Super moms have kids that get knocked up at 17? I think this is a episode of Life goes on.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:19 PM
The latest one: debunked
Dammit where was TBL with minute by minute updates on that development? I call shenanigans!
September 8th, 2008 at 4:20 PM
Benji -
Oh, he might be the nicest guy in the world. I’m just saying how he comes off on his Planet Green show. It’s an unnatural hatred I have, I know, but it is better directing my hate at a fictional tv show rather than directing it at work.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:23 PM
Does your retardation come naturally, or do you have to work hard at it to post a comment like this?
So she’s not allowed to have her family on stage with her at the convention, something that, oh, I don’t know, every political candidate ever does? And at the same time she’s not allowed to get angered when some in the media/blogosphere smear her by saying she really didn’t have that kid?
August, I know you’re a lib, but it would be nice to hear some sanity for once from your side of the aisle regarding this issue.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:25 PM
I made him aware of it. I guess it wasn’t juicy enough to post.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:25 PM
If I were treated as unfairly by the media as Palin has been over the last couple of weeks, I might be a wee bit hesitant to sit down with them as well.
SHe is sitting down with ABC later this week. I don’t know what to expect but at least it won’t be soft balls from Fox News.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:25 PM
Wait, did Palin blast the media for covering her kids? Then she shows them off like show ponies? You cant have it both ways.
This is good.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:26 PM
/in honor of Hef
September 8th, 2008 at 4:27 PM
Mike NYC – how is this reasoning not insane?
“Don’t talk about my family. Here is my 4 month old daugher. Yes, I showed her off. But you can’t talk about her.”
Any internet research shows you do the same driveby’s on other sites. You even use the same monicker. Fag.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:27 PM
I’m getting pretty bored with Entourage. I mostly just hate the length of each episode. Nothing can really happen in 20 minutes. I enjoyed it more when I hadn’t seen it yet and was catching up and watching 2-3 episodes at a time. When you watch it live, it barely has a chance to even get going before it is over. Plus it’s weird to watch with your girlfriend. That probably had a lot to do with it last night.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:28 PM
So are Obama’s children fair game since he trotted them out on Entertainment Tonight?
Will someone answer that?
September 8th, 2008 at 4:28 PM
I hear Obama’s kids were crack babies actually mothered by Oprah.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:28 PM
SHe is sitting down with ABC later this week. I don’t know what to expect but at least it won’t be soft balls from Fox News.
Shes going to announce that shes pregnant again.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:31 PM
Cool Rick, please define “show off.” Then answer CBH’s question.
And I’m a drive-by? I’ve commented on this site way before you, bud. And I rarely, if ever, comment on other sites. I don’t think Mike (first name) + NYC (city) is a very original handle.
Fag.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:31 PM
/starting shit
September 8th, 2008 at 4:33 PM
I don’t give a shit about her kids and the fact that her abstinence-only education clearly doesn’t work, I want to know why she keep lying about opposing the Bridge to Nowhere.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:33 PM
cool_rick (obviously a self-given name) has been throwing around ad hominem attacks for awhile now.
I’ll give cool_rick a little time to look up the meaning of ad hominem before he responds.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:33 PM
Thank you for your sanity, Clown.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:34 PM
Drive-bys and crack babies? This is an entertaining conversation.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:35 PM
@Mike: People are just wiggin’ out because they’ve never even heard of this lady and she comes from the most isolated part of the US (more so than Hawaii because lots of mainland tourists go to Hawaii)…
I don’t think anyone is really hammering her for having her family on stage at the convention, but there’s a crazy double standard being applied by the GOP flacks who are mad at the mainstream media (not talking about the Huffingtonpost/Kos crowd) for asking questions, about her kids.
Am I missing something?
September 8th, 2008 at 4:37 PM
Agreed with Clown: I her kids won’t be a heartbeat away from the presidency and the ability to appoint Supreme Court justices.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:37 PM
You forgot to mention that the economy is fantastic.
/PurdueMatt
September 8th, 2008 at 4:40 PM
All I want to know is what will McCain/Palin do about Billy Wagner?
That’s right: just more of the same!
September 8th, 2008 at 4:40 PM
She’s not for abstinence-only education. Please, look up the facts before commenting. This is why both you and the media look like idiots right now. And Alaska’s sex-ed curriculum involves both abstinence and birth control, similar to most states
/wishing your parents had practiced more abstinence.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:41 PM
Look at the pic. Every mom I know holds their baby up in front of thousands of people. Particularly after they scold the media for being tough on thier family.
Never said that kid wasnt hers. Simply said she is a fucking joke.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:42 PM
cool_rick (obviously a self-given name)
Jesus Christ. This is lame.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:42 PM
August, McCain is all about change now!
/Understands that his campaign team realized they had to end the Bush comparisons
September 8th, 2008 at 4:43 PM
Seriously why do we want to give the presidency back to the people who fucked up America. No I’m not talking about blacks and Jews.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:45 PM
She’s not for abstinence-only education.
FAIL.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:47 PM
When the fuck have I attacked you? It’s not like you are Mongolia or something and I am trying for the extra points in Risk. Triple Six, give me that bitch.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:47 PM
NSR, perhaps you should acclimate yourself with “the internet”.
And that was a low blow about my parents, considering they died in a plane crash when I was 4.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:47 PM
Understands that his campaign team realized they had to end the Bush comparisons
You know a better way to end those comparisons? Don’t vote with the dumbass 98% of the time and propose to keep his economic and foreign policies in place.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:48 PM
August, it’s 90% unless Obama is short changing him.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:49 PM
Anyone wagering on tonights games??
Who do you like?
I am thinking both dogs cover. Vikes and Raiders.
Thoughts?
September 8th, 2008 at 4:49 PM
When the fuck have I attacked you? It’s not like you are Mongolia or something and I am trying for the extra points in Risk. Triple Six, give me that bitch.
Rick Im not sure who this is aimed at but Im saying thats lame to come at you for your name. Sorry if I wasnt clear.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:49 PM
I am thinking it sucks balls I have to work late tonight and am going to miss the first half of Packers/Vikings.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:50 PM
If you read the rest of her interview she states abstinence should be taught with birth control. Hang on and let me find the article…
September 8th, 2008 at 4:51 PM
Don’t worry cbh49er, I’ve got homework due tonight so I’ll miss it too. And to throw some more fuel into the political fire, RON PAUL!!!!!
September 8th, 2008 at 4:51 PM
August, it’s 90% unless Obama is short changing him.
My apologies; I was winging it on the number. I guess I forgot McCain opposed Bush on immigration there for a minute.
90% it is. That’s change!!!
September 8th, 2008 at 4:52 PM
Tampa – not directed at you.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:53 PM
Her you go.
“I’m pro-contraception, and I think kids who may not hear about it at home should hear about it in other avenues,†she said during a debate in Juneau.
http://race42008.com/2008/09/06/palin-supports-contraception-sex-education/
September 8th, 2008 at 4:53 PM
If your only definition of a program that “works” is 0% pregnancy, show me a sex ed curriculum that “works”.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:54 PM
This 90% voting record stuff is weak and misleading. As was pointed out by Dick Morris, nearly all votes in congress are about inane bullshit like recognizing sports team achievement so you could correctly argue that Obama voted with McCain 90% of the time.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:55 PM
great call. i sing that theme song to myself sometimes when bored.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:56 PM
Can we stick to media biases
September 8th, 2008 at 4:59 PM
So she flip-flopped? I guess she’ll fit right in on the McClone ticket.
September 8th, 2008 at 4:59 PM
Pulled: you’re fucking kidding me. Name a single issue outside of Global Warming and immigration they disagree on!? That point is often true in (example: Kerry’s record being twisted in 2004… Dick Morris didn’t fucking mind then because he’s a fat piece of shit), but not this time. They agree on most significant issues.
@ NSR: did you read the article they pulled that from? Here’s a tidbit:
September 8th, 2008 at 4:59 PM
first bump, clown
September 8th, 2008 at 4:59 PM
I really hope this isn’t true.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:00 PM
If your only definition of a program that “works†is 0% pregnancy, show me a sex ed curriculum that “worksâ€.
I believe KC resident has a “ATM” curriculum that works and I support 100%
September 8th, 2008 at 5:02 PM
Palin is the only politician in the history of American politics to ever flip-flop on an issue. True statement.
Hey, maybe rescinding Bush’s tax-cuts in the middle of a recession is a bad idea after all.
/Obama
September 8th, 2008 at 5:02 PM
Fine August, I’m not disagreeing with you that they agreed on many issues. I’m just pointing out that throwing around this 90% number is misleading and can be said about any 2 politicians in congress.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:03 PM
Hey, maybe rescinding Bush’s tax-cuts in the middle of a recession is a bad idea after all.
Why are we in a recession?
September 8th, 2008 at 5:06 PM
My answer: I’m not Alan Greenspan; I have no idea.
Your (presumed) answer: Bush is Evil!
Alright, have a good night.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:06 PM
What recession?
Also Obama moderate plan will likely pass through a Dem congress whereas a McCain plan to extend bush cuts would not pass. McCain most likely equals higher taxes. The irony.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:06 PM
@TB: That’s my policy. Don’t confuse us Jayhawk fans. Some of us(KC)keep it classier than the rest of us(Az).
September 8th, 2008 at 5:08 PM
Mike, you just totally FoxNews the issue. Why is it fair for her to be critical of the media, yet parade her kid out?
September 8th, 2008 at 5:10 PM
Im sorry. I knew it was one of you guys. I’m all for ATM.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:14 PM
How is she parading her kid out more than Obama has?
Note Obama and Biden both have said kids are off-limits.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:14 PM
Because her kids are off-limits? (As are Obama’s. As are any politician’s children.) Why haven’t you answered CBH’s question yet? You just totally MS-NBC’d the issue.
Jesus, even Obama disagrees with you.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:15 PM
@tampa: What about ATA?
September 8th, 2008 at 5:18 PM
ATA only works with two chicks. Were talking about ATM.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:18 PM
Ass to Ass!
/Old man from Requiem for a Dream
September 8th, 2008 at 5:19 PM
An answer with a non answer question is law school. Been there, done that. Answering questions with questions is uneducated.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:21 PM
That metal picture sure isn’t going to make this last 40 minutes go any quicker… such a mindfuck of a montage at that part.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:21 PM
CBH- Dont mention that godforsaken movie ever again. I still have nightmares.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:21 PM
The answer is because children are off-limits.
************
Kindly answer CBH’s question. (Third time a try?)
************
Kindly address Obama’s comments that children are off-limits.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:24 PM
Kindly address Palin’s speech. She declared that familie’s are off limits. She then proceeds to prance the family out. hahahahahhaha
September 8th, 2008 at 5:25 PM
That’s what I thought.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:25 PM
@tampa: I was thinking of Requiem when I asked. Good call, cbh.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:26 PM
As did Obama.
As did Biden.
As did McCain.
As ahs every candidate since these conventions began. It’s lame logic.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:26 PM
You’re expecting logic from this guy?
That ship has sailed.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:30 PM
Requiem is a great movie.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:31 PM
Yeah I’m not getting hammering her for bringing her family on stage during the convention. That’s standard procedure in this day and age.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:41 PM
So are Obama’s children fair game since he trotted them out on Entertainment Tonight?
Yes. If it bleeds, it leads. The right should be thankful that Dems are actually taking it easy here because can you imagine what you guys would do with this situation? Don’t act like most of the right wouldn’t go ballistic, and don’t act like they wouldn’t get dirty as hell.
September 8th, 2008 at 5:51 PM
I hate requiem for a dream its too dark for me you guys are sick fucks.
September 8th, 2008 at 7:07 PM
Like what Republicans did with Gore’s son that got busted on marijuana? Wait, you didn’t hear about that? Interesting…
September 8th, 2008 at 7:29 PM
NSR, dems haven’t waged culture wars over weed, but republicans have over unmarried teen pregnancy. What do I care if the son of a then unelected citizen gets popped with some pot?
