A “Titany Nightmare,” Indeed
College Football September 15th. 2008, 12:00pm
Where for art thou, Don McPherson? Terrific find from Three Idiots on Sports. The ‘Cuse football program has been in shambles for years – mostly since Donovan McNabb left – and they’ve only been to two bowl games this century. After getting drilled by Akron last week, Penn State went to the Dome Saturday and won, 55-13.
We’ll bury the program Saturday if the defense, which is ranked 113th in the country, stumbles against the I-AA Northeastern Huskies.

Preston Shumpert isn’t walking through that door.

Correct on both counts, irish. I still hate ‘Cuse Lacrosse for their domination in the late 90’s. Assholes.

Made my first trip to Syracuse last weekend. For a dome that’s sponsored by a friggin’ air conditioning company, it should not upwards of 100 degrees inside.

As Cuse Alum, I’ve already buried them. Hard to believe I had to actually to have a conversation about my friend about why Syracuse shouldn’t be kicked out of the Big East.
But we have The Express!

Oh, no, I saw it coming. Was home in Syracuse that weekend, and heard on 570AM one of the pregame hosts say, shit you not, “Well, they filmed The Express at the Northwestern campus, so maybe the ghost of Ernie Davis will help the team out.”
W.T.F.????? A ghost? Appearing at a movie location / future football game site? As my hope and prayer my team won’t suck?
