Jay Bruce Has Been Whip Creamed
Baseball September 20th. 2008, 5:50pm
No real purpose for the post here other than this picture being hilarious. It’s actually kinda creepy. The more you look at it, the more he looks like a disturbed, emotionally trapped comic book villain. Or just a guy with whip cream on his face.
Also got a kick out of this one. When did Johnny Damon become a simple, skipping boy from the Netherlands? Or are they reenacting a scene from that disgrace Newsies? I’d love to know what they’re singing to each other here:

I would just like to take a moment to say AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA to the Oregon Ducks bandwagon
September 20th, 2008 at 6:00 PM
Yeahhhh, that’s not whipped cream…

Fuck the Cubs
September 20th, 2008 at 6:53 PM
SPARTANS! NOTRE DAME SUCKS!
September 20th, 2008 at 6:56 PM
Duh!
September 20th, 2008 at 6:56 PM
I guess even when they suck, it’s still fun that they suck.
September 20th, 2008 at 7:00 PM
This is a big rivalry for us, we always enjoy this win. Javon Ringer IS a Heisman candidate.
September 20th, 2008 at 7:04 PM
What do you think of Clausen?
September 20th, 2008 at 7:05 PM
Awww, shucks. Somebody’s a little envious.
September 20th, 2008 at 7:05 PM
What do you think of Clausen?
Douche
September 20th, 2008 at 7:05 PM
Ha!
September 20th, 2008 at 7:06 PM
It’s clearly because of Jeff Samardzija.
September 20th, 2008 at 7:07 PM
he can throw, but he is not a good QB right now. looks a lot like Brady Quinn did his first couple years. Needs to stop locking on his receivers. Of course when you can run only 25 yards all game on offense, does not help the passing game.
September 20th, 2008 at 7:08 PM
i thought he was asking about stuff besides the obvious.
September 20th, 2008 at 7:12 PM
Has anyone ever had Marcos Pizza? THinking about ordering.
September 20th, 2008 at 7:12 PM
X-rays on Jeter’s wrist negative. That would have been a disaster.
September 20th, 2008 at 7:25 PM
Only slightly premature. But, congrats to the Tampa Bay Rays. Good luck in the playoffs!
September 20th, 2008 at 7:26 PM
Marcos Pizza is average.
The cheesy bread is orgasm inducing.
September 20th, 2008 at 7:31 PM
Yep, still hate Michigan State. At least they weren’t able to plant the flag on the ND 50 yard line this year.
September 20th, 2008 at 7:43 PM
I hope LSU loses by a lot.
September 20th, 2008 at 7:52 PM
glad to see cbh managed to show up tonight. you mean he isn’t here?
September 20th, 2008 at 8:11 PM
In honor of tonight’s Georgia/ASU game, it’s only right to link here and here.
September 20th, 2008 at 8:23 PM
app state is housing jmu on their own field. they have no answer for armanti edwards. thankyou comcast for showing this game!
September 20th, 2008 at 8:35 PM
also, good to see noone wants to win the central. bats disappear against the fucking royals down the stretch? inexcusable
and phil fucking choked big time for the usa today. he had a gimme putt for him on 17 and shanked it, would have essentially won the match. not to mention his absolutely typical mickelson performance on eighteen. what a joke
September 20th, 2008 at 8:37 PM
In honor of tonight’s Georgia/ASU game, it’s only right to link here and here.
TSH-I wish CRM would think outside of the box like you.
September 20th, 2008 at 8:51 PM
Tampa Bo. The SEC Poon was the most clicked on link at S&Fs this week, well, that and Kate Mara in her undies with a shotgun.
September 20th, 2008 at 9:14 PM
wow app state completely lays down and gives up 21 points in five minutes. what the fuck
September 20th, 2008 at 9:25 PM
I hope your dog sh-ts on your kitchen counter.
/personal attack
September 20th, 2008 at 9:27 PM
Man, both of LSU’s qb’s suuuuuck. Can’t they just let bygones be bygones and let Perriloux back on the team? Everyone deserves 8-9 chances.
September 20th, 2008 at 9:36 PM
my gosh Georgia true freshman AJ Green is abusing the ASU secondary. something like 130 yards receiving in the first half.
September 20th, 2008 at 9:41 PM
that TD should end things …. 21-3. stafford threw that TD pass off his back foot. impressive.
Ole Miss is killing me. this can’t be the Vandy D, can it? I see three turnovers, but Vandy cant even move the ball, yet leads, 20-17. Ole Miss won be covering 7, f
September 20th, 2008 at 9:41 PM
How shitty is having the flu in September? I say very.
September 20th, 2008 at 9:50 PM
Off topic, am I the only one who is glad to see that This shitis finally back?
September 20th, 2008 at 9:55 PM
les miles is my hero!
September 20th, 2008 at 9:55 PM
Les Miles has HUGE balls!
September 20th, 2008 at 9:56 PM
what an embarrassing performance from app state. jesus christ.
man this day has sucked ass
September 20th, 2008 at 9:57 PM
TBL I have Ole miss -7 as well I was on the Jevan Snead bandwagon after the Wake game. 3 TO’s? WTF?
September 20th, 2008 at 9:58 PM
fucking garbage, run the ball!!
September 20th, 2008 at 10:07 PM
sergei gonchar may have blown out his knee
this day just keeps getting worse
September 20th, 2008 at 10:09 PM
You may have spoken too soon.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:09 PM
tsp – no idea. dont have the game on TV, but it’s a loss. pissed. i can’t believe that vandy’s D is this good.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:09 PM
Auburn can’t put these guys away
September 20th, 2008 at 10:09 PM
There is the run for 10 yds, blunt.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:10 PM
and … here comes LSU.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:11 PM
jarret lee, welcome to the SEC!
September 20th, 2008 at 10:11 PM
That was fucking gutsy
September 20th, 2008 at 10:11 PM
where are the Schiano backers? A 23-21 loss to NAVY?
that’s the same navy that lost to BALL STATE and DUKE.
wow, LSU takes the lead on a HB pass! some rally.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:12 PM
qb sucks? let your rb throw it!! damn good game! *
*unless LSU loses, then it would suck.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:12 PM
That drive looked effortless, Auburn needs to answer on this drive because they have NO momentum
September 20th, 2008 at 10:14 PM
remember that schiano turned down being considered for the Miami job.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:15 PM
Schiano was rumored to be Joe Pa’s replacement. Not anymore.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:17 PM
TBL is going to be pissed.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:17 PM
Remember when Florida St. was great? 6 turnovers and 3 points against Wake Forest would have been unthinkable in the 90’s.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:18 PM
I gues Rutgers was all Ray Rice. Kinda like ND was all Brady Quinn.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:19 PM
It is really unreal how quick and how far FSU has fallen off the map.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:20 PM
I am a Miami fan but still, FSU is terrible.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:21 PM
September 20th, 2008 at 10:22 PM
Has Musberger brought up the spread yet tonight?
September 20th, 2008 at 10:23 PM
nah, Mus had Georgia and the points, he’s ok tonight.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:24 PM
That LSU running game…
September 20th, 2008 at 10:25 PM
Makblunt- don’t be shortchanging Brian Leonard. ACC is still one of the best baseball conferences, so I guess it has that going for it…
September 20th, 2008 at 10:25 PM
Scott is a beast!
September 20th, 2008 at 10:26 PM
Dude this kid and the OL are taking over
September 20th, 2008 at 10:27 PM
No denying that but today wasn’t a bad day for the ACC with Miami taking that big stick to Texas A&M and my university beating ECU in a hell of a game.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:28 PM
Basketball, too. Can’t have it all…
September 20th, 2008 at 10:29 PM
from his tone, it sounds to me like Brent is on ASU. well, except for his BJ of Georgia’s Green.
let’s see what he says if GA scores on this possession.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:29 PM
I would argue they’re an even better baseball conference than basketball.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:31 PM
I couln’t beleve the Nc state game. I thought east Carolina would have woke up after almost losing to Tulane, but hats off to the Wolfpack.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:31 PM
as for LSU’s Scott, yup, kid looks like a monster. i really thought keiland williams would be the featured back this year, THAT kid is fast and strong. but can’t argue with Scott dominating
September 20th, 2008 at 10:32 PM
Moreno will be great in the NFL, he always makes the first guy miss. Georgia OL will keep them from going undefeated this year.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:35 PM
20-14
should have LSU ball on that fumble.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:35 PM
east carolina isnt as good as beating wvu and vatech made people believe, another example of why preseason rankings are absolutely baseless
September 20th, 2008 at 10:38 PM
you could detect the glee in Brent’s voice on that incomplete pass in the end zone. holding the Dawgs to a FG keeps ASU in the game.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:39 PM
did ya’ll ever think that Musberger just wants the game to be close so he doesn’t get bored like last week… wow that was a helluva throw
September 20th, 2008 at 10:40 PM
i really thought keiland williams would be the featured back this year
I thought he would have been last year, but it ended up being Hester. I guess Miles likes big backs.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:40 PM
Auburn 21, LSU 20
set up for a nice final 6 mins
September 20th, 2008 at 10:40 PM
I am hearing the same tone from Brent, TBL. Big pass from Todd, Aub takes the lead.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:41 PM
dammit!! 21-20.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:42 PM
I’m glad that we know John Elway’s kid’s blood type now. Jesus.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:42 PM
Are you an LSU fan, Makblunt, or just have action on the game?
September 20th, 2008 at 10:43 PM
and the marlins season officially ends tonight.. phillies are 74-0 when leading after 8.. wow
September 20th, 2008 at 10:43 PM
LSU fan. Them and the Saints give me ulcers.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:43 PM
“but there is a penalty, hang on! Carpenter is saying there is pass interference.”
- hopeful Brent
September 20th, 2008 at 10:45 PM
@ Makblunt- probably a bad sign of me as a sports fan, but I couldn’t tell yuou a thing about their team. I know their QB is a Harvard transfer right? But other than that I could tell you more about their baseball team (DJ LaMahieu is gonna be a stud) than I could about their football team.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:45 PM
wide open!!! plenty of time!!! can’t throw the fucking balll…
September 20th, 2008 at 10:46 PM
tough 3rd and 10 for LSU
September 20th, 2008 at 10:46 PM
Man listen to that crowd
September 20th, 2008 at 10:48 PM
I couldn’t tell you anything about their baseball team, so what does that say about me?
Yes, but he’s out the game with a head. We have some fuck who started playing football 2 years ago leading the number 6 team in the country! Shit!
September 20th, 2008 at 10:49 PM
For me college hockey and baseball > college football and bball. Except the national champion Kansas Jayhawks of course.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:50 PM
LSU about to get the ball back … surprised they don’t have the speedy Holliday back there … so what if he fumbled two already?
September 20th, 2008 at 10:50 PM
Brent with no comment after that facemask. Interesting.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:52 PM
I’m pretty much the opposite Fetch. Went to a hockey game once, many moons ago. I loved it, promised I’ll go again.. it’s been at LEAST 12 years now.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:53 PM
yes, screens. now run.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:53 PM
How good is the LSU placekicker?
September 20th, 2008 at 10:54 PM
the kid from harvard looks good (that’s Lee, right?) … LSU in real good shape on this final drive
September 20th, 2008 at 10:55 PM
FUCK THE KICKER!@!!!!!!!!
September 20th, 2008 at 10:55 PM
WOW!
September 20th, 2008 at 10:55 PM
LSU to cover!
September 20th, 2008 at 10:55 PM
Dammit where the hell did the Auburn defense go? Just give up the fucking field goal and I still win the Auburn +3 bet, but nooo, go ahead and suck. Fuck.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:56 PM
wow, TD lSU
surprised they passed there instead of just playing for the FG
26-21, 2-pointer missed
September 20th, 2008 at 10:56 PM
Andrew Hatch is the guy from Harvard. Lee is the Freshman
September 20th, 2008 at 10:56 PM
TBL, Hatch is the kid from Harvard if I am not mistaken.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:56 PM
No, Hatch is the kid from Harvard.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:58 PM
* see comment 48 for my feelings right now.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:58 PM
Why not kick it deep there, they haven’t been giving up long returns. Now you give them the ball at the 35
September 20th, 2008 at 10:58 PM
Lee is a freshman? nice poise.
auburn has to go 65 yards, but has all 3 TOs
what a dumb penalty on LSU
September 20th, 2008 at 10:58 PM
Just a guess, but I think Hatch is the kid from Harvard. I don’t know where I would get that idea.
September 20th, 2008 at 10:58 PM
Gigantic penalty…
September 20th, 2008 at 10:59 PM
Bigger sack
September 20th, 2008 at 10:59 PM
sack!
September 20th, 2008 at 10:59 PM
you gotta throw that away, geeeeeez
September 20th, 2008 at 11:01 PM
fourth down…
September 20th, 2008 at 11:02 PM
ITS OVER!
September 20th, 2008 at 11:03 PM
great game, sec doesn’t disappoint
September 20th, 2008 at 11:03 PM
quick off topic rant: I’d love to know why the hell Azinger picked Chad Campbell to be his anchor tomorrow.
September 20th, 2008 at 11:04 PM
SEC>everything else
September 20th, 2008 at 11:07 PM
Why oh why didn’t LSU run out the clock and kick the FG? No way should they have covered there.
September 20th, 2008 at 11:26 PM
LSU found the hole in Auburn’s defense…about 20 yards downfield.
The pass that scored the winning TD was a terrible throw. A floater that was way too far inside. Better to be lucky than good sometimes, I suppose.
September 21st, 2008 at 12:16 AM
Newsies is an incredible masterpiece of a film. Watch your fuckin’ tongue.
September 21st, 2008 at 1:01 AM
Go LSU! Still not sure if they can beat Florida or Georia though.
September 21st, 2008 at 9:19 AM
They can’t. Not both of them.
I hope they start getting Jordan Jefferson some reps at QB in some real SEC action. He’ll probably be the best of the three.
September 21st, 2008 at 9:23 AM
Oh yeah. And Charles Scott is everything that Cecil “The Diesel” Collins was supposed to be. Except for the rapes and ignorant behavior.
