Yup. After this, the Chargers go on the road for four of five (and even though Oakland and Miami are two of those games, look at how well both of them played this weekend), and the lone home contest is against the Patriots.
If the Broncos are a lucky 3-0, then the Chargers are an unlucky 0-2. They are, essentially, two plays away from being undefeated. We keep hearing how money Favre is on Monday Night, how he’ll abuse the Chargers’ much-maligned secondary, and how Tomlinson’s toe could have an impact. We’re not buying it. We’re on the Chargers -8. I wasn’t happy when Favre retired but totally sided with Ted after the change of heart since it happened way too late
The Packers have weaknesses (interior offensive line, Al Harris’ spleen) but quarterback isn’t one of them…he’s really good (which the Packer management was aware of or else they wouldn’t have traded Favre)
