Amanda Bynes is growing up quite nicely, huh? … oh a personal note, it’s great to read that nobody trusts King Henry Paulson … very, very nicely done, courtesy of Newsweek … the origin of the blogosphere! … we’re no longer the world’s financial superpower, apparently … anyone else starting to become a fan? … goodbye, Washington Mutual – is Wachovia next? … yes, we’ve slacked for a while, but we have a interview coming later today …

I always thought Bynes and Sarah Chalke looked kind of similar.
PSU’s out of conference schedule looks SO much better this morning.

Did Rexy put this roundup together?
September 26th, 2008 at 8:33 AM
Roeth – Yeah, Penn State just scored huge points with the computers. Go beat Illinois and then win at Wisky and OSU and let’s chat.
September 26th, 2008 at 8:34 AM
Last night was a great night to gamble
September 26th, 2008 at 8:35 AM
Sorry, poor Friday choice…still looks like she’s 13.
September 26th, 2008 at 8:43 AM
Illinois, no problem, thats at home. Traveling to Wisky (and OSU) are worrisome.
At what point does Carrol start to take flack, I mean he can get them up for big games but seems to always play down to the PAC 10.
September 26th, 2008 at 8:45 AM
when he stops finishing in the Top 5 or 10 and going to BCS bowls every year.
September 26th, 2008 at 8:48 AM
@coop- i owe you some drinks from last nights game
September 26th, 2008 at 8:48 AM
So then why does Tressel/OSU take flack on this site?
September 26th, 2008 at 8:49 AM
I don’t want to get into the whole ridiculous conference thing, but talent wise they are head and shoulders above everyone else in the PAC 10 so they sure as hell should be going to BCS games.
Oklahoma does very similar things but Stoops has taken tons of shit over the BCS losses. Tressel too.

OSU > USC

No prob Irish, I’ll make a withdrawal someday on Kobe V Lebron.
September 26th, 2008 at 8:52 AM
because there are no vocal USC fans here. it’s fun to take shots at the $enator/O$U because there are passionate fans. I would give a vital toe if the Vols were as “crappy” as OSU is every year.

Did you see the stands last night when they showed the visitors section, not even half full. Bunch of pansy ass fair weather fans that dont care.
September 26th, 2008 at 8:56 AM
I guess I better close my Washington Mutual Account.
September 26th, 2008 at 9:00 AM
I like big butts and I cannot lie.
September 26th, 2008 at 9:01 AM
@tampa – I think it just got closed for you.
September 26th, 2008 at 9:02 AM
Penn State Baby! Wisconsin is OK Ive seen them struggle but PJ Hill is a NFL Running Back. and I think Penn State will fight OSU hard and pull it out.

Miz-I guess I have a JP Morgan Chase account now
September 26th, 2008 at 9:13 AM
Hells no – he’s on the Ron Dayne plan. Beat up on the weaker teams with 100 yards plus, do crapola against the good teams.
September 26th, 2008 at 9:16 AM
Roethlis-He was hurt I think hes going to do work this year.
September 26th, 2008 at 10:29 AM
Aubrey O’Day looks fantastic. Did anyone see the picture of Megan Fox in the O’Day link? Fox has what looks like pie all over her face and the caption is, “Is Megan Fox dating Peter North?” I chuckled heartily.
September 26th, 2008 at 11:03 AM
@NDub
where is said link?

Frankly, I’d be more trusting if Denny McLain was running the Treasury Department.
Oh, and if my bank needs to be bailed out, with my luck, it’ll be by Dog Chapman.

Your WaMu accounts won’t be affected for about 6 months. After that, your interest rates will probably get lowered, depending on how generous JPMorgan is feeling. Part of the reason why they had to sell was because people were closing their accounts out of fear, making things spiral down.
As for the bailout, are people just concerned about paying more taxes? If the financial sector fails, it’ll spread like a plague to other industries, costing jobs, and more economic hardship. I don’t know if I’m missing something here. It’s not the best plan, but it’s at least an attempt to stop the further deterioration right? If you’re just waiting for things to get worse so you can buy cheap houses, or invest in cheaper stocks, you also have to think if we do hit a recession, will your company survive? Will you have a job to buy that house?
September 26th, 2008 at 11:43 AM
TBL, they’re called conspiracy theorists… it’s their job to not trust anyone

I feel for WaMu’s CEO. The dude obviously was distracted from the business at hand while shopping for a new toupee.
His current toupee looks a bit like a roadkill possum.
