The thing that pisses Saints fans off the most is the way he doesn’t use Deuce. He doesn’t use him for short-yardage in the first 3 games. They go 1-2. They use him sparingly last night, and he’s not on the field for the last critical series of downs. And Sean Payton will tell you that they are “saving” him. They don’t want to abuse him because of his knee problems.

Oh, but giving Deuce the ball 18 times in a blowout against the 49ers? That makes absolutely no fricking sense, especially considering who he is and what we’ve heard.

To be fair, Hester is finally looking like a solid receiver. I would give him a better chance to be an every down receiver than Bush to be an every down between the tackles running back.

Bush isn’t an every-down between the tackles runner. He lines up at wideout fairly often. I would take Bush at wideout over Hester. Matter of fact, it should be his position, kinda like Metcalf when he went to Atlanta

The playcalling wasn’t bad. The Saints had over 400 yards of offense. Stupid fucking mistakes made this a 3 point Viking win instead of a 27 point Saints blowout. Gramatica kicks too low. Lance Moore tips a Brees pass into Leber’s arms. 11 fucking penalities, including the one where the safety let Berrian run by him, then tackled him without finding the ball in the air. Led to the game-winning points. I understand how mistakes like that should be the coaches fault, it show a lack of disipline by the players. But fuck, this isn’t high school or college football. You’re getting paid not to do dumb shit.
