Rivalries are serious in Texas. I've heard stories from my small town where live mascots were killed and such back in the '90s. I think this is nothing to get upset about, but I always prefer funny over violent. A few weeks ago in the DFW during a game two students dressed as a gorilla and a banana, and the banana chased the gorilla across the field. That was classic, and non-violent. The banana was arrested, both were suspended from school.
