Boston Pitchers Love to Play Through Injuries
1-liner October 28th. 2008, 5:45pmBoston’s Annoying: Curt Schilling’s bloody sock is either heroic or incredibly overhyped. And now we have Josh Beckett’s oblique. “When Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein describes Beckett’s five-inning performance in Game 6 as ‘borderline heroic’ it is with good reason.” He could barely put his shirt on! Also: John McCain is a huge Schilling fan. Somewhere after the 6-minute mark in this interview. (WEEI)

Things bloody and overhyped: OJ’s glove, the Shroud of Taurin, Erin Andrews first tampon. Curt Shillings sock.

Dear McCain Campaign: PLEASE send Schilling out on the campaign trail.
As far as I am concerned, Curt Schilling ceased to exist in October, 2007. I will remember him on the field fondly.

I don’t think a sock has the ability to be heroic. Of course, I do have a selfless boot.
