tOSU is a top 20 public university in the nation.
It’s* graduate programs cosistently** rank high (Law, Business) among all universities (public or private). I think alot*** of the hate for tOSU needs to stick to sports, because the school is top notch.

Herbstreit is excellent. I don’t think he really pimps Ohio State, but they;re obviously a very common topic since they’ve been in 2 straight national championship games… He’s not perfect, but he’s a big part of the best pre-game show in the business (College Gameday) and a very good analyst in-game.

totally agree.
herbie does his research, is intelligent and has a passion for the game. he’s a big reason why gameday is (by far) the best thing that bspn produces.
is he perfect? no. who the hell is? i can think of dozens of analysts employed by the four-letter to hammer night and day. going after herbie is nitpicking to the ENth degree.

Shapiro’s a stain(although he seems to have buried the hatchet with the Mike half of Don and Mike), yet he makes a good point about Herbstreit; the guy is horrible. BTW, did Herbie really play QB at OSU, or was it in the same vein as the late Brian Pillman having “played” for the Bengals?

Remember, that video was from a year ago. Hill has slipped comfortably into his bojangles role and has improved his ebonics like a fine wine. He does almost ALL NFL stuff on ESPNNEWS, and almost always w/ guys like the vid (Ray Anderson, Quadry Ismail etc, so he can “go street” (NTTAWWT)
