Giants Dismantle Cowboys, Jerry Jones’ Face
NFL November 2nd. 2008, 8:22pm
Brad Johnson may have played his last game as Dallas starter. He tossed two interceptions on 5 of 11 passing. The Giants rushed for 200 yards and two scores and New York can now boast wins over Pittsburgh, Dallas and Washington. They head to Philadelphia next week for a meeting with the Eagles, winners of three straight after their domination of the Seahawks.
If the NFC East is in fact as dominant a division as the media claims, I’d look for both the Eagles and Giants to win that game.
In other lateness, the Falcons shutout the Raiders 24-0 and the Dolphins shut down the once-mighty offense known as the 2008 Denver Broncos. The AFC West is still there for San Diego.
On to the Colts and Patriots on NBC …

Well, here’s the season…
November 2nd, 2008 at 9:00 PM
so how many fucks is it going to take to get my comment bounced? fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck…..I fucking hate being a chiefs fan. I was all into the game, they had me all thinking they might actually win, and then they fucking sat on the ball to take the game to overtime and never saw the ball again. Only saving grace was that they looked better than the Cowboys. Boy do they suck.
Think about it, Wade “I suck more than Herm “I suck dick” Edwards” Philips actually had to think about switching QBs at the half instead of making it in the first half. Seriously, how much worse could it have gotten, they were fucking losing, what was it going to hurt to get Bollinger in the game earlier to get some reps.

sandi, i think you need to get laid. i am a texas fan. i promise it will be all right.
November 2nd, 2008 at 9:13 PM
while i am at it. i guess there is no reason to discuss who is better between cutler,vy and leinart any more. it is just not that easy to play qb in the nfl.
November 2nd, 2008 at 9:22 PM
I will go on record as saying the Super Bowl winner will come from the NFC East or South.
November 2nd, 2008 at 9:23 PM
frustrated and annoyed …
Colts – 7
I don’t think the Colts are as bad as their record; I think the Pats are not nearly as good as their record. Let’s see if Cassell can crack a 100 QB rating on the road …

not feeling risky tonight, are we?
how about making it challenging and pick two teams .500 or worse that could get to the SB. or two teams NOT in those divisions that could get to the SB.
November 2nd, 2008 at 9:30 PM
Vikings are 1 of them. Bears the other?
November 2nd, 2008 at 9:34 PM
I like the Chargers as the other, with the Jets backing them up in the AFC. Jets should be much better by December.
November 2nd, 2008 at 9:36 PM
Let’s see…sub .500 teams that have the talent to win a SB…Jags and San Diego are the only 2 that come to mind.
November 2nd, 2008 at 9:37 PM
The Vikings are bewildering. In all honestly they should have lost to Detroit (phantom def. pass interference call). They should have lost at New Orleans in that Reggio Bush game.
So legitimately IMO they should be at 2-6.
But in reality theyre 4-4 and ‘primed’ to string a couple more victorys together and potentially make the playoffs.
November 2nd, 2008 at 9:41 PM
Colts are 3-4. They have the talent to win the SB.
I don’t think we have seen the REAL Colts offense yet this season. Manning, a healthy Addai, Wayne, Harrison, and Clark all firing on all cylinders and this team can beat almost anybody.
November 2nd, 2008 at 9:41 PM
colts +35…..boy the NE defense looks as weak as ever
November 2nd, 2008 at 9:45 PM
Mav – All of what you say is true. They have not played well as a unit. But undeniably, the talent is there. I dont know if Childress can galvanize it. or gus can beat all the bad teams.
Dolphins are 4-4 with wins at Denver, at NE, and over SD and Buffalo
Saints and packers are 4-4.
November 2nd, 2008 at 9:46 PM
Anytime you have a guy like Adrian Peterson, and a defense like they do you have a shot. But Brad Childress sucks so it’s not gonna happen.
November 2nd, 2008 at 9:46 PM
schedule is still brutal, though. that’s the primary reason i’ve been down on them all season.
November 2nd, 2008 at 10:01 PM
What’s the deal the Williams’s situation? If they both miss 4 games the Vikings may not look as good of a pick to win the NFC north anymore..
Berrian with TD’s in 4 straight games. Stretching the field. He’s startin to earn his money!
November 2nd, 2008 at 10:15 PM
“The AFC West is still there for San Diego.”
Frauds!
What’s up with the avatars? Or is this something my computer is messing up.
Put me in the corner of the Colts are just sort of going through the motions biding time for the playoffs. They’ll finish 2nd in the South, get a home wildcard game vs a horrible Chargers team, and be on fire. Their running game needs to really improve.
November 2nd, 2008 at 10:18 PM
Snitches are bitches.
November 2nd, 2008 at 11:17 PM
Well, we have one thing to look forward to. The Cowboys have a bye week coming up, so that’s at least one week where we don’t have to hear about them non-stop.
/no, I’m not really that stupid
November 2nd, 2008 at 11:23 PM
Good one, Jay. All we have here is two straight weeks of, “is Bollinger going to be able to keep the Cowboys afloat?” nonsense. Ed Werder is somehow related to Pedro Gomez.
November 2nd, 2008 at 11:35 PM
sanders, how much are you sweating this one out? i saw the 7-0 score early and only now started watching again. looks like they’re destined for the under (44.5). colts lose this one and the season is surely fucked.
November 2nd, 2008 at 11:44 PM
TBL
- Manning’s looked great tonight, but the Colts D can’t get off the field on third down to save their lives (or season, as is the case). Not having both their starting corners is killing them on all these third-down slants and comeback routes. Unless the Colts have the ball last, I’m extremely worried the D will end up letting them down.
November 2nd, 2008 at 11:48 PM
i cannot believe how piss poor the Colts D has looked in the last two drives i have seen. cassel is 23-for-29? the colts D can’t stop these jokers at RB? colts dont deserve to win.
November 2nd, 2008 at 11:49 PM
i’d give up steak for a month for a pats TO followed by a Colts TD and Indy cover.
November 2nd, 2008 at 11:51 PM
No love for the undefeated Titans? They’re the Ravens of a few years ago. Solid D and an O that scores enough points and doesn’t turn the ball over.
November 2nd, 2008 at 11:51 PM
finally, a 3rd down stop. granted, it was a terrible play call (shovel pass) but still nice work.
now can the colts get a TD? please?
November 2nd, 2008 at 11:51 PM
sanders should have just batted that down. cost them 25 yards
ass
November 2nd, 2008 at 11:52 PM
Thanks dave thomas, fuckin retard
November 2nd, 2008 at 11:53 PM
Man, you get extreme in your statements when you have money on the game, TBL.
November 2nd, 2008 at 11:55 PM
BTW, Cassel’s 23 for 29 and averaging about 5 yards an attempt.
November 2nd, 2008 at 11:55 PM
thought green-ellis had that first down, but w/o t.o.’s…
November 3rd, 2008 at 12:04 AM
Green-Ellis isn’t terrible. He’s coming off back to back 1000 yard seasons in the SEC.
November 3rd, 2008 at 12:05 AM
well that was shitty, let one really get away. at least it was quick, 2hrs 45mins so everyone can get to bed early.
November 3rd, 2008 at 12:27 AM
Colts have to go to Pitt next week. Tough draw. If Freeney and Mathis can get pressure on Ben and if Kelvin Hayden’s back in the lineup the Colts can win. If they get zero pressure like tonight, the Steelers will run for about 200 yards and the Colts will have to score on every possession to have a chance.
