I wouldn’t trade with Fowler for all the tea in China. Just thinking of being in the same zip code as Herbstreit and Corso makes me want to stab myself in the neck.

Did anyone notice, with about 1:30, a player on TT went down with an injury, and the clock stopped while he was laying on the field. Texas continued to score on the next play. Shouldn’t the clock have ticked, or TT been forced to call a timeout?

They were most likely going to make the FG anyway. Texas had terrible kick-off coverage too. They were destined to lose that game. Still, how do you not triple team Crabtree?

hyperbole much? this was the middle of the season game where both teams don’t have THAT much of a rivalry going on and it wasn’t a bowl game or a game that would’ve determined anything at all seeing as it’s unknown whether either will be a factor at the end of the season.

wow…to think it’s amongst THAT company? no way.

i must admit that my reaction was a bit strange, as well: I leapt off the sofa and jumped in front he TV and started screaming. my wife was laughing and pretty much in awe of the score as well.

i was raving the rest of the night about how a play like that is a guy’s DREAM – you score the game-winning TD to beat the No. 1 team in the nation, on TV, and then 50,000 people started to rush the field in your honor. that’s got to be the finest moment of the college football season, perhaps the best since the boise state hook and ladder.

If there was one guy at the WWL that I could trade jobs with I think it would be Fowler. What a sweet job, surrounded by the passion of college football, heading into a new college town each weekend, co-eds; that’s hard to beat.
