I’d say it’s tougher for an offense to incorporate a scorer like Iverson than a role player like Billups. Let’s give this a little more than 8 quarters to assess.

Detroit has lost two with Iverson, Denver has won two with Billups. Only two games and the Nuggets beat Dallas and Memphis while the Pistons lost to the Celtics but you have to wonder who got the best of the trade.

I’ll give you Chicago because they have been competitive in all their games and the games they’ve lost have been close. They beat the teams they should beat.

Philly has to wake up and prove something. They are 2-4 with wins over the mighty Knicks and Kings. They were blown out by Miami and that Orlando game last week was never really close. I’m not buying the 76ers yet. Though I suppose they could join Orlando in “teams that should be playing better.”
