TBL, did ESPN specifically buy the games or did the Disney/ABC group purchase them? I was wondering about this recently. don’t you think they would put the games on ABC?

Doesn’t ESPN have college basketball rights? I think this question makes no sense. They could have been investigating college teams this whole time. Let’s not forget ESPN didn’t break the Bush story, Yahoo did.

would ESPN be willing to go after perennial BCS contenders, like USC, Texas, Florida, LSU, etc, where some illegal activity may be taking place?

um…texas hasn’t been to a BCS bowl since VY left. florida missed last year. LSU isn’t going this year.

but, yea, other than that, perennial works.
