The Phog would have been loud throughout. Still think it was good for both teams. Learning experience for both teams as SU can play the “we’re not out of it” card and KU can play the “gotta match the opponents intensity” card

Trisont- It was obvious it was totally different when the crowd made no noise at the start of the second half until SU got within 5 or so. The Phog would never let that happen.

Thank you Vitale. Don’t confuse Sprint Center with the Phog. ‘Cuse really showed some good intensity and didn’t give up. That’s what teams need early in the season. That will play out well for them down the road.

KU is gonna be solid as the year progresses. Lotta young talent there and they had this game in the bag before the Flynn shot. Good game.

Boeheim will still play zone no matter what but he’ll play more man for sure this year.

These were a huge two games for this program.
