I’m rooting against him ever playing, because Chris Berman would be so gleeful about the pun possibilities attached to Booty’s name that Berman might have a heart attack.

On second thought, I now have a reason to root for John David Booty.

Perhaps Mr. Souhan is the Star Trib’s resident sports humorist, and you’ve got to read this guy on a daily basis to really capture his greatness. Or, he just failed miserably here. Imagine that, a blogger getting on the case of a sportswriter for being mean! It must be the holiday season.
