Maybe the Charlotte Bobcats Are Improving?
1-liner, NBA November 30th. 2008, 1:00pmCharlotte Bobcats: Go figure – the Bobcats have beaten the Heat, Hornets and Jazz this season. In the last week, they’ve won two and lost two, and were surprisingly competitive against Toronto and Boston in narrow losses. Now, the problem – the backcourt of Felton and Augustin seems to be effective, but Jason Richardson’s back, and he and Gerald Wallace love to shoot the ball. MJ needs to make some sort of deal, right? Doubt they can get anyone to take J-Rich’s burdensome contract off their hands.

Typical fucking Saints drive to start the game.
10 passes, 2 runs (both short yardage).
4th and 1 at the Tampa 30, run a reverse, lose 3 yards, drive over, no points.
I’m telling you–Brad Childress has nothing on Sean Payton.

Tis a shame that the NBA let Bob Johnson swoop in and screw over Bird and Carr’s group that laid all the groundwork for the return of the NBA to charlotte. Johnson was not then, and will never be an ideal NBA owner, because he isn’t focused on putting a quality product on the court. Anyone that has a reputation for pinching pennies should never get the ok to buy a sports franchise. You can not cut costs and have a successful sports team…it just doesn’t work that way. The NBA, and the rest of professional sports teams are the embodiment of “you have to spend money to make money” because excluding maybe 5-6 historic franchises, your team’s success is the number one determination of your bottom line.

Saints get the ball back on an INT, get another 3rd and 1, pitch it out to Bush, lose 4 yards.
A QB sneak or quick run up the middle would have gotten it both times. But Sean Payton thinks that’s a bad idea because that’s what they’re expecting them to do.
Hey, Sean, there’s a reason whey they’re expecting it. Because it fucking works better than a reverse or a pitchout to Reggie Bush.

there are rumors that have Wallace or Richardson going to Clipperland for Camby or Kaman or Randolph; probablly Camby or Kaman because I don’t think Randolph can be traded so quickly after joining a new team, but I’m not sure what the rules are.
