two years ago the mascot was walking around campus with the lion on and he ran me down and gave me a hug. i felt violated and honored at the same time.

Christ. The mascot suit at my school was handled by the service fraternity, and was worn by whoever wasn’t completely hungover that day. There certainly weren’t any tryouts.
