24-42
College Football December 6th. 2008, 12:00pmComing into the Mid-American Conference championship game, Ball State was unbeaten. Their opponents, the Buffalo Bulls were 7-5. During the game Ball State out-gained Buffalo 503 to 301. Ball State dominated the clock. They had 30 first downs to Buffalo’s 18. Oh, well.
The lesson as always – Take care of the ball!
Super-duper-star Nate Davis threw a pick and fumbled the ball four times en route to the upset. Davis threw for 351 yards and a touchdown, but his inability to protect the ball helped the Buffalo Bulls ruin the Cardinals season last night.
Now Ball State doesn’t have anything to complain about for the next year. Good thing they passed up the opportunity to play Boise State in the Humanitarian Bowl. I’m sure Ball State will be receiving all sorts of offers to go bowling now.
Buffalo quarterback Drew Willy highlighted a tremendous senior season by throwing for 206 yards and 3 touchdowns. Almost makes going to college in Buffalo worth it.

Why would the USC Hype rest, they’ve won the last 5 national titles and they’re the greatest evar.
So did Whitlock write a 5000 word column about the greatness of the Buffalo Bulls?

PSU needs to do the nation a favor and beat USC by about 35 at the Rose Bowl.

The Humanitarian Bowl is probably glad Ball State decided not to come now.

from today’s Buffalo News:
UB coach Turner Gill interviewed for the opening at Syracuse University last weekend, a source told The Buffalo News on Friday. Syracuse Athletic Director Daryl Gross asked for and received permission from UB AD Warde Manuel in the days prior to the interview, the source said.
The University at Buffalo football coach has been linked to job openings at Syracuse, Auburn, Mississippi State, New Mexico and New Mexico State
He’s done a great job and is gonna get paid. He made $190,000 last year. Greg Robinson made $1.1 million at Syracuse, and Sylvester Croom made $1.7 million at Mississippi State.

Nate Davis looks like TBL.

God, just token rush somebody at the punter in case they snap the ball over their head. They go from a big momentum shift to first and ten at midfield.

What do Evil Terminator, Pedro Cerrano and the guy from Missing In Action 3 have to do with Army?
