I’m late to this party, but this is sort of interesting — the Football Outsiders guys have their “playoff odds” formulas. The Eagles, at 7-5-1, have a ~36% shot at the playoffs by their calculations. The Cowboys, at 8-5, ~15%.

True enough. But we were all buying the Browns’ contender Kool-Aid at season’s start. Barring their win over the Giants, it has been a disappointment.

And as for Cincy…well, I don’t think much was expected, but they’ve managed to deliver even less. If it wasn’t for Detroit being worse, the heat on Marvin Lewis would be 10 times greater.

for the browns…it’s all on romeo crennel. he’s cost the browns a shot at being .500, which is why he has one of his fat, stubby legs out the door.
