Burnett to Yanks
December 12th, 2008 at 5:19 PM
he looks like he’s wispering out of the side of his mouth.
“just take it easy, big smiles, nobody’s gonna get hurt. You scream and I’ll cut you.”
December 12th, 2008 at 5:19 PM
Fuck Burnett. I see this one blowing up in the Yankees’ face, and I’ll smile all the while.
And talk about Cowlishaw playing above the rim…

ugh. burnett? what disaster.
hopefully cashman’s gone if/when they miss the playoffs next year.

Cowlishaw is whispering sweet NASCAR-related nothings into her ear until she explodes.

TBL-what is the better option? Ian Kennedy? Derek Lowe (who had an era over 5.00 that last time he was in the AL)? how about Kei Igawa? maybe the call up some other rookie that isn’t ready. come on dude. this is the way it is gonna be. get on board or stop bitching.
December 12th, 2008 at 5:27 PM
I don’t see Derek Lowe having great numbers when your starting SS is Derek Jeter.
December 12th, 2008 at 5:28 PM
and you think these were cashmans moves anyway? this was all hank and hal. if cashman had it his way, he would be pitching all their minor leaguers like you seem to want.

good week for the yanks. see yas over the weekend.

Can’t wait to see AJ’s “electric” stuff get lit up like a Christmas tree in NYC. Take away last season, and he’s a 500 pitcher who overthrows. Rotsa ruck! Hated the guy when he was w/ the Marlins. When a guy is over 30 with 10 years in the bigs, when does he reach his “potential”?
btw: Earlier this week, it said he was offered 5 years/$85 million. He signed for 5/$82.5? I’d get me a new agent-lol

“get on board or stop bitching”
can i root for no playoffs if you’re assure me cashman is gone?
still dont think the rotation is as good as boston’s, and who knows if tampa’s going to be as good next year.
i’d rather have pettitte than burnett. cashman has no clue what he’s doing, just throwing cash around like a drunken idiot
December 12th, 2008 at 5:30 PM
you forgot – what about when he gets lit up and then the NY Media hammers him? how will he handle that?
December 12th, 2008 at 5:31 PM
Dude up top looks like my old boss.
December 12th, 2008 at 5:31 PM
Isn’t that the Yankees mission statement?
December 12th, 2008 at 5:35 PM
tbl: Yeah, he’s not the toughest guy, mentally
just throwing cash around like a drunken idiot
you’re stealing Samson’s material!

That is why I started to grow a goatee

what the fuck? Anyone else signs Burnett “Great move!#@!#^” Yanks do it “horrible signing!!!!” The Yanks are also going after Sheets. So their rotation next year could be Sabathia, Sheets, Burnett, Joba, Hughes/Pettite. What else are they supposed to do? Kennedy sucks (so over-rated) and Hughes might not be ready yet (he’s 21, give him a second) so they went after the best pitchers available.
TBL loves showing off his Red Sox shirt.

Cowlishaw is whispering that he hopes TBL runs this picture for no other reason that to humanize him.
