A new twist on this story came out this afternoon when Jazz owner Larry Miller went on the local sports radio and said (paraphrasing from memory here) “Usually when something like this happens I would just say no comment. This is the type of stuff that as an organization we don’t talk about publicly. But I will say this. This is one of the top 10 stupidest things I’ve ever seen an NBA player do.” There should be a link on it either later tonight or tomorrow on the radio stations web page. NSR – I actually really like that deal both ways. Utah would surely want another team involved to deal Felton though. And doesn’t Charlotte have to wait to deal Okafor since he just re-upped? Can’t remember the rules on base-year compensation.

Felton’s in the last year of his deal so the Jazz could just cut him loose at season’s end.

Checking ESPN’s trade machine, they could send Boozer to Charlotte for Okafor and Felton (I think Larry Brown would like this).

Okafor would be great for the Jazz, I don’t know what Felton would do for them.

boozer’s 6â€²9â€ and can’t defend for shit…they’ll be fine.

I would say 6-8 is being generous to Millsap. I do think they need to keep Millsap without breaking the bank, but they need to make a move. Checking ESPN’s trade machine, they could send Boozer to Charlotte for Okafor and Felton (I think Larry Brown would like this).
