Mystery Man Sets up Website to Defend the Honor of ESPN’s Ed Werder
1-liner, ESPN, Media Gossip/Musings December 19th. 2008, 2:15pmDefending Ed Werder: “By courage, I mean that he would report the news from Valley Ranch in the morning, then would have no problem playing golf with any of the players later that day – no matter what he had reported. He’s just a stand-up guy who defines journalism. He’s objective and honest but also has a good relationship with his subjects while maintaining his professional distance. I’ve played in the same [golf] foursome with he and Terry Glenn when Glenn was about to be released and Ed never ambushed Terry with any questions or dug for info. He just went about hitting his power fade and making bogeys like the rest of us.” (Stache Supporter)

When TO comes out in 10 years and admits that he has a chemical imbalance in his brain, Werder is going to be running around screaming, “I fucking told you so!”

Wait, it’s good journalism to play golf with the guys you are paid to report on?
