they essentially closed all exits between Milwaukee and just north of Chicago. If you need to travel between there, good fucking luck.

I once had a cabbie throw me out of a cab after we argued over his route (he took me out out on 66 outside of DC instead of cutting through the city), so I had to walk along the highway to an exit. I found a cop waiting for me, who told me the cabbie called, said I punched him and jumped out of the cab while it was moving to avoid the fare.

- Driving through New Mexico is scary as fuck. You’re constantly looking at your gas gauge and praying your cell phone doesn’t suddenly stop working. It’d be really easy to disappear and never be found out there.

ugh. I drove through indiana for both when I went to chicago and st. louis, and that is the WORST state to drive through. If you ever wanted to kill yourself…Just never drive through that state if you’re drousy.

jesus, I can’t wait to drive to NY from Kentucky tomorrow. I’m sure it’s going to take the entire day, now.

I did the Manhattan to Chicago drive in one day a few years back through a snowstorm right before the holidays. Fucking terrible. Never been so glad to see Indiana in my life as it meant I was almost done.
