Sounded like Doug Gottlieb laughed at first comment too. Then when Carter repeated himself there is that awesome “holy shit, he just said that” pause, then Doug jumps in. Doug has certainly had his strong idiotic statements.
Re: Carter. He did not talk like this when he was a player, calling in for interviews. I noticed it when I caught of few minutes of either the Sunday or Monday night pregame. He was talking like I have never heard him talk before.
Oh well. Like you said, mute is a wonderful thing.

Screw the mailman. I love the fact that his career ended at the Palace in 2004 when the Lakers lost Game 5 of the Finals to the Pistons (I was at this game and saw a championship won).
