Ok, Can We Get #45 Out There Now?
College Football January 1st. 2009, 7:15pmSome quick thoughts on Penn State-USC:
- Will the left knee of Mark Sanchez be able to hold up when he gets run over by a stampede of worldly poon later tonight?
- Will he even care?
- Will Damian Williams break Meshawn’s Rose Bowl record?
- Will Herbie and Brent ever stop blowing the Trojans?
- More importantly, will they finally wrestle in their digital steel cage?
- Will the stud wearing number 40 (far right) ever take those pom-pons out of his pockets?
- Will he now be known as ‘that pom-pon guy’ on campus, or will he still be O’Doyle?
- And will he wear that memorable lanyard to all of his classes?
- Will number 45’s right eyebrow ever return to it’s original position?
- Will the girls behind them ever become hot?
- Will you even stick around to find any of this out?
- And where the hell was I?

Will I smoke some more and stay in and make funnel cakes, or will I sober up enough to get taco bell then smoke some more.
And who the hell is this Sheila?
January 1st, 2009 at 7:34 pm
that would take a lot of beer. They can’t be from So-Cal.
January 1st, 2009 at 7:41 pm
Why isn’t Ken Norton Jr’s name mentioned for any head coaching openings?
January 1st, 2009 at 7:53 pm
good Q, makblunt. everyone’s been jocking the off coordinators at USC for a few years, but nobody loves Norton.
January 1st, 2009 at 7:55 pm
uh, USC, can we please re-apply the foot to the throat of PSU? Thanks. my 10-point line looks a lot less certain now. one freak TD kills me.
January 1st, 2009 at 7:57 pm
thanks for listening, Sanchez! wide open 45 yard TD pass
January 1st, 2009 at 7:59 pm
Will the left knee of Mark Sanchez be able to hold up when he gets run over by a stampede of worldly poon later tonight?
No need for date rape tonight
January 1st, 2009 at 8:02 pm
Mole, how’d you net out? Is your funnel cake smoking yet?
January 1st, 2009 at 8:05 pm
Is this whole 4th quarter going to be how great the USC program is? Man I didn’t realize this was going to be a recruiting seminar.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:09 pm
USC gets unnecessarily fellatioed more than any program on earth, besides maybe Ohio State.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:13 pm
brent musburger in the 1st half went “..usc is 3-4 wins from 3 maybe 4 titles in a row…” my wife (college football illiterate)dropped a wtf? he is a joke/clown/bum.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:15 pm
i would rather listen to Fouts on SC solo for four hours.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:23 pm
If Oklahoma got to play their bowl games in Oklahoma City against a Big Ten team, they’d finish in the top 3 every year too.
And I’m glad to see that Fox ignored the memo that they were showing the bands too fucking much in last year’s BCS games.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:24 pm
Herbstreit a few minutes ago on USC:
“This is like watching Tiger Woods play golf.”
This team isn’t even playing for the national title. Fuck off.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:24 pm
USC has as many undisputed national championships in my lifetime as BYU and Clemson have. Again, why am I supposed to be impressed?
January 1st, 2009 at 8:25 pm
while brent and herbie blow USC, Penn State keeps scoring. geez. toughen up, USC! one more TD and im f*cked.
what is the bowl challenge cup? does that actually exist? or is it just an ABC creation?
January 1st, 2009 at 8:26 pm
Penn state is one defensive stop and TD away from a great backdoor cover..
January 1st, 2009 at 8:28 pm
TBL- you putting anything on the Cincy game?
January 1st, 2009 at 8:28 pm
The bowl challenge cup: where not having that many bowl-eligible teams is a good thing.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:28 pm
please, please get a 1st down here USC. please.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:29 pm
RS – small action play on Cincy. i thought i was playing with house money (USC win) but that may not be the case.
i hvaen’t seen anything that will change my mind from big $ on Arizona, Minny and SD in the NFl this week.
well, the LT/Gates injuries, maybe ….
January 1st, 2009 at 8:31 pm
not only did he NOT get a first down … HE FUCKING RAN OUT OF BOUNDS??????
does pete carroll have money on PSU +10? he called plays on the sideline TWICE that series.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:31 pm
PSU getting the ball back! Musberger might have an orgasm on this drive is PSU gets near the end zone.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:32 pm
TBL- clock doesn’t stop until the last 2 minutes, starts on ready for play whistle
January 1st, 2009 at 8:33 pm
i have put all sharp objects away. im going to step away from the cpu for a moment, because if USC blows this …
interception!!!!!!!!
whew!
January 1st, 2009 at 8:33 pm
well that was fun
January 1st, 2009 at 8:33 pm
Tony Sacca wouldn’t have done that.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:34 pm
Did Musberger suggest that the lions draft tebow with the first overall pick?
I would love to see how good Tebow would be at school like West Virginia.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:35 pm
Musberger didn’t suggest the lion should draft Tebow, he said they should.
Laughable
January 1st, 2009 at 8:35 pm
What’s the Cincy/Va Tech line? I wouldn’t mind throwing some coin on Cincy.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:35 pm
Mark Sanchez is such a great guy.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:36 pm
Off topic… Anyone see that “G†commercial during the ABC bowl games today with all of the Olympians? What is that for?
January 1st, 2009 at 8:37 pm
uh oh.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:37 pm
omg
fucking kidding, right?
i really think USC is on the take here. has to be.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:37 pm
THIS IS GREAT! PSU punching this in would be amazing.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:38 pm
F###… There goes the line…. And Brent knows it.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:38 pm
Fetch -
Cincy 2.5 I think.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:38 pm
“a lot of folks in Nevada on their feet”
-brent
a sack would have ended that. why wasn’t he called in the grasp?
January 1st, 2009 at 8:38 pm
Wally – I was thinking the same thing. I have no clue what it’s for.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:38 pm
Anyone else hoping the Gatorade cooler they dump on Carroll has an angry grizzly bear in it?
January 1st, 2009 at 8:39 pm
Here we go. Gambling is awesome.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:39 pm
The commercial, that is.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:39 pm
fucking joke if psu scores here.
i will flip the fuck out
January 1st, 2009 at 8:40 pm
the G might be for Gatorade
January 1st, 2009 at 8:40 pm
Dammit. That would have been a great cover..Still fun to watch though.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:41 pm
I believe you’re right. They’ve got a big re-branding campaign coming up.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:45 pm
I wouldn’t think Gatorade needs to do any re-branding.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:45 pm
By Brent Musberger’s standards, the Indianapolis Colts would be the team of the decade.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:45 pm
thank you, mr. clark.
fletch on HBO
January 1st, 2009 at 8:46 pm
Musburger as Penn State comes to the line: “Here we go, lots of folks in Vegas on their feet right now”
January 1st, 2009 at 8:46 pm
Wow Sanchez comes across as actually likeable
January 1st, 2009 at 8:47 pm
Good call on Gatorade…
http://www.gatorade.com/
January 1st, 2009 at 8:49 pm
The main thing is their new “G” logo. Fascinating, I know.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:51 pm
Tough choice here, Orange Bowl or The Dark Knight. I think I’m going with TDK
January 1st, 2009 at 8:52 pm
Still time to win two more Super Bowls and prove that to be true.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:55 pm
Marty Gilyard is the best player that no one knows. That guy is a game changer.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:56 pm
miss the first two mins, and Cincy already scored? nice
January 1st, 2009 at 8:57 pm
dark knight on cable, or you got the DVD?
January 1st, 2009 at 8:58 pm
21 is an All-American corner? on what planet? he just got TOASTED by a slow white guy, who tripped over his two left feet or else he would have had an easy six.
January 1st, 2009 at 8:58 pm
Dark Knight can’t possibly be on cable yet. It’s typically 10-12 months after the theatrical release date before they premiere on cable channels. This Cincy-V. Tech game is already better than that shitty game ABC just got done shoving down our throats.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:00 pm
me likey the missed FG
January 1st, 2009 at 9:01 pm
Is there a mandate from the bosses at Fox that every third shot in their BCS games has to be of the fucking band?
These Fox BCS games are going to be unfuckingwatchable again.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:02 pm
Jay
- Have you ever considered a stress ball? You seem to have so much hate inside you…
January 1st, 2009 at 9:02 pm
Mike Mickens (21) is a great corner when healthy. He’s been hurt the last 3 games witha torn meniscus in his knee but the guy was great for Cincy when he played this year.
No way he’s healthy
January 1st, 2009 at 9:05 pm
VT has met their special teams match tonight. Cincy is a top 3 specials team unit in the country.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:06 pm
I’m with you Jay. Can’t wait for the professionals at the 4 letter take over the BCS so that the college game looks and feels like the college game again.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:11 pm
I remember reading at Awful Announcing this time last year that one of the bigwigs at Fox Sports (some Australian guy, of course) was a big fan of college bands. So he’s just going to ignore what everybody said last year and do the games the way he likes them. That’s brilliant.
And I’m okay bsanders. I just thought that the USC hype would have stopped after they lose at least once to Oregon State or 40-point underdog Stanford year after year, but it just seems to get worse. I will not apologize for my hatred of that. I just want to watch the games and not have to deal with the bullshit.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:13 pm
FOX and college football just doesn’t mix.
oh, i just saw burn after reading and the coen brothers suck. there, i said it.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:15 pm
Blood Simple, Miller’s Crossing, Raising Arizona, Barton Fink, Fargo and The Man Who Wasn’t There would say you’re wrong.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:15 pm
WOW! just noticed that Fletch’s love-interest played the mom of one of the hot girls on FNL! damn, never put that together.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:16 pm
I read that too, it was Rupert Murdoch, the guy that owns Fox.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:16 pm
pass. raising arizona was the best of this overrated lot.
to each his own on the movie front, ’suppose
January 1st, 2009 at 9:19 pm
Well, you’re obviously living proof of that.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:21 pm
so far the best game today was Nebraska-Clemson. Of course, no one watched it…
January 1st, 2009 at 9:22 pm
i’d love to hear one reason of yours – not from a critic, or a link – as to what makes these guys and their movies so great.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:26 pm
Their dialogue, the performances they get from their actors, the mood of their films, the fact they often operate outside the “10 mins in, inciting incident, 45 min in, turning point, 90 mins in, conclusion and fallout” structure of most movies. The fact their movies are just smarter than most of the crap Hollywood puts out. I don’t get my opinions from critics, TBL, I generate them on my own, same as you.
Just because I think you have bad taste in movies doesn’t mean you necessarily do, just that I happen to think that. Of course, I didn’t ask you to clarify why the Coen brothers suck.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:27 pm
So far the best game today was when Doug Overton shocked Rick Brunson in a Madden ‘08 OT thriller.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:27 pm
Why can’t some people like some movies and some people like some other movies?
January 1st, 2009 at 9:27 pm
Um they made the Big Lebowski which is one of the funniest movies of all time.
You liked Invincible because it made you want to do pushups afterwards. They’ve won four oscars.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:29 pm
Well, obviously moleman articulated the point I was trying to make far better than I, but I gave it the ol’ college try.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:31 pm
Oh and The Hudsucker Proxy, one of the more underrated movies of the nineties with an incredible cast.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:31 pm
fair enough, sanders.
because if you dont agree with the masses (Coens rule!) then you are an idiot. of course.
comparing invincible to big lebowski? hahahahahahahaha
January 1st, 2009 at 9:32 pm
No love for “Oh Brother Where Art Thou?” I hated it the first time I saw it, but I put it right there behind “The Big Lebowski,” “Raising Arizona,” and “Miller’s Crossing.”
I thought Fargo, however, was extremely overrated, but still better than what most directors put out these days.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:32 pm
@molemaninthemorning: did you combine the Taco Bell with the funnel cakes yet? Kinda like this.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:33 pm
What the fuck does that even mean?
January 1st, 2009 at 9:33 pm
The movie Fargo need to be burned from the earth and forever forgotten. Oh, and The Ladykillers too.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:34 pm
Judging by the box office receipts of their movies, I would say this is completely inaccurate. More people this year saw Beverly Hills Chihuaha in the theater than have paid to see any Coen brothers movie.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:34 pm
I’ve got no problem with the Coen Bros, but I hated Burn After Reading.
And I watched the second half of Nebraksa-Clemson.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:35 pm
that was great. lol
January 1st, 2009 at 9:35 pm
Since when have the Coen brothers equated to the masses?
January 1st, 2009 at 9:36 pm
I read that too, it was Rupert Murdoch, the guy that owns Fox.
No, I really don’t think it was him. It was one of his Newscorp lackeys.
I used to direct football games, which is why I am so critical of it. You don’t show the band that much unless you’re told to. It just makes no sense. You’re supposed to think like a guy watching the game. And after the team gets a first down or scores a touchdown, I know that the guy watching at home isn’t thinking “Gee, I wonder what the band thinks”
January 1st, 2009 at 9:38 pm
Rupert’s sons run the company thesedays, coulda been them
January 1st, 2009 at 9:40 pm
Brennamen and Davis are terrible.
Brennamen = “What has happened to Cincy’s offense since they went right down the field to score a TD”
I don’t know Tom, they had one punt and went right down the field again and missed a fieldgoal.
These announcers are terrible and I usually like Brennamen.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:43 pm
TBL – I guess I don’t get the HBO channel that has Fletch on tonight. But I’m going to watch some Jurassic Park on Cinemax in 20 minutes. It’s in HD and I just finished putting in surround sound.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:45 pm
Ah I found it..It was David Hill that said he loved the bands. The head of Fox Sports
January 1st, 2009 at 9:48 pm
i could watch jurassic park over and over. fun movie. with surround sound, it rules.
for me, there just isn’t a coen bros movie i could watch repeatedly. big lebowski is one, the rest, maybe raising arizona …
taken a madden break
January 1st, 2009 at 9:50 pm
Last year, I think one of the blogs was logging the band shots at Orange Bowl. There was something like over 120 shots of the bands in a 2 hour stretch. Something like and average of 1 shot a minute. By contrast, they show the bands like once a quarter on the other networks.
ABC/ESPN could have done that with the Song Girls and nobody would have complained.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:58 pm
oh, i just saw burn after reading and the coen brothers suck. there, i said it. TBl
Sadist.
But, yes, subjective arguements over movies are dumb.
The wife and I watched Burn After Reading this afternoon. Definately not the Coen’s best effort. I want to stick a fork in Brad Pitt’s face on most days and today I wanted to be George Clooney opening the closet door. Otherwise, Clooney and Malkovich were great. The story took awhile to get it’s footing and then Bam! It was over. I’m not a fan of 2 1/2 hour movies, but this one could have been stretched out a bit.
Coen’s have great movies. Obviously, they aren’t movie makers for the masses. I’ll leave that up to whoever casts Will Smith and Tom Cruise in movies. The Coen’s have never been considered hitmakers. They don’t cater to the suburban mall movieplex mindset. They generally are above art house snootiness. I guess that is where I fall in life.
I agree with Jay. Fargo was grossly overrated, but fun nonetheless. Lebowski, Miller’s Crossing, Oh Brother (on repeated viewings), Arizona, and Hudsucker are just great movie making.
I suppose I should add a “in my opinion” on this post. No harm meant to those that have a differing opinion. Dude.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:58 pm
Charles davis doesn’t even know the rules. God. This is pathetic.
January 1st, 2009 at 9:59 pm
Jay -
That was the KU/Tech Orange Bowl game last year. The joke that was worn thin yesterday during the Insight Bowl was there was not nearly enough band shots from the NFL network.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:05 pm
It wouldn’t be so bad if they wouldn’t have the same shot of that VT douchebag wearing the 1981 mirrored sunglasses every damn time. Change it up a little bit. It would be like if you kept showing the same fan reacting after every play.
/unless you’re Chase Daniel’s parents
January 1st, 2009 at 10:17 pm
In the time between my last comment and this one, I had an asthma attack. I thought I had outgrown this disease, and apparently I thought wrong. Went to the ER, got hooked up to a nebulizer, got a perscription for an inhaler. The point is, the moment you think something is wrong, do something about it. Don’t “rest and hope it goes away”.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:18 pm
i enjoy hearing other’s opinions on movies.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:19 pm
Lance – I know what you mean. I take Advair and Singulair for my Asthma. I was told I will never outgrow it, so I just take the meds every day and go about my business. Glad to hear you’re doing OK now, though.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:22 pm
DVD. Sorry to hear that Briggs.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:22 pm
Glad you’re okay Lance
I’d make a comment on The Man Who Wasn’t There, but it has to be the most unmemorable movie I have ever seen. I just remember that Billy Bob was in it (I think). The Ladykillers wasn’t horrible, but I can do without it.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:26 pm
Barry Switzer just said no one expected this game to be a defensive struggle. What?
Cincy is 25th in the country in total defense and VT is 13th. What did he expect? A Big 12 shootout? Can Fox get anyone that knows anything doing these games?
Summerall is doing the Cotton Bowl tomorrow. That should be fun.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:29 pm
The Man Who Wasn’t There was never made. I have no idea what you are talking about.
Jimmy Johnson and Barry “The B is for Booze” Switzer sitting next to each other on the Fox panel? WtF? Fox must have laid out big bucks. I love me some Eddie George, but he is not so good on tv.
WTF again? The Doobie Brothers? I though ZZ Top was bad last year.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:30 pm
I have the game on mute. Who’s the band–Lynyrd Skynyrd’s parents?
January 1st, 2009 at 10:30 pm
Kinda like “Rocky 5″, KC?
January 1st, 2009 at 10:31 pm
Good to hear you are ok, Lance. ER visits are never a good thing.
rs27 – Summerall struggled through his taped preview. The Tech/Miss game should be fun tomorrow for a variety of reasons and Pat in the booth is another.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:32 pm
fuck. tough loss in madden. was eagles. got down 21-0, scored 14, was driving in final minute … mcnabb throws a pick. dammit.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:32 pm
Fox must have laid out big bucks.
There is a law that says that ESPN and Fox must have a minimum of two ex-Cowboys on connected to football broadcasts at all times.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:35 pm
Poor Sumerall. He was good. Sumerall and Verne Lundquist should just stop altogether because people who aren’t old enough will think that’s how bad they always were. The same went for Keith Jackson. Thank God he’s not out there anymore.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:35 pm
Pat’s color commentator = Jack Daniels. KC: there was a guy in the ER waiting room with a bandage on his head. One of the doctors told me that he was at a party, asked two guys to leave, who did, and later came back to stomp this guy’s shit. The doctor said they could see skull. Hope everyone here was careful last night.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:35 pm
i had more yards, more first downs, time of possession … too bad mcnabb fumbled at my 7 (he scored) and jackson fumbled a punt and it was run back like 20 yards for a score. fucking taco.
(oh, he was the packers, as if anyone cares)
January 1st, 2009 at 10:37 pm
was driving in final minute … mcnabb throws a pick. dammit.
It was the receiver’s fault
/oh no, not this again
January 1st, 2009 at 10:38 pm
holy shit, man. scary stuff. stay healthy.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:38 pm
TBL’s playing madden over the orange bowl? Understandable.
TBL’s playing madden over semi-new office episodes? Unexcuseable.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:41 pm
The Man Who Wasn’t There
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0243133/
Unless you meant, it SHOULDN’T have been made…
January 1st, 2009 at 10:46 pm
random thoughts
I liked raising arizona.
don’t want a college playoff, but wouldn’t mind a plus 1.
Fox sucks because Aikman calls al of the Cowboys game. That’s retarded
Farve shouldn’t come back cuz he’s old and his teammates hate him
Barkley is not a role model
January 1st, 2009 at 10:49 pm
Fox sucks because Aikman calls al of the Cowboys game. That’s retarded
Maybe they should let Moose Johnston or Brian Baldinger do some of the games. Oh wait….
January 1st, 2009 at 10:50 pm
Hopefully Sir Charles Barkley and John Daly will give a speech at UT about the dangers of alcohol. I’d bring my digital voice recorder.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:54 pm
Wally -
That movie was never made. IMDB is akin to TMZ. Lies. All lies.
Also, you and I are tied on the football pool thing pending results from this game. I’m not sure why Yahoo can update points, but not standings until the next day. Anyhow, good luck.
Lance – My ER story is a buddy and I went to close by small college town one night to meet friends. Got way blotto and then hooked up (with chicks, not each other.) I woke up on her bedroom floor the next morning with what I thought was the worst hangover ever. Shitting and puking. Woke up my buddy before 7 am (not a fun thing to do) and I drove about 3 blocks and kept puking. He drove me the hour and a half to KU’s student health center. They diagnosed The Flu and stuck a shot in my ass for the puking thing. Things got better and I was in sort of in a drunken, sick haze. Then they put a guy next to me who was just screaming. He had kidney stones. Good lord, never wish stones on your worst enemy. This guy was in Pain. That’s when I quit drinking Natty Light on a regular basis. I overheard the doctor tell him that cheap beer clogs up the pipes. I never saw him, but I guess he was older, possibly a grad student. Stones are for older folks. I hope.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:55 pm
Listen, don’t drink and drive or you’ll have to do a public service announcement–just like this one.
I still miss Sam Kinison
January 1st, 2009 at 10:58 pm
I think that KC is going with something akin to Bill Simmons’ saying that “Rocky 5″ was never made, because it was just that bad.
January 1st, 2009 at 10:59 pm
^Favorite part of that story.
January 1st, 2009 at 11:04 pm
nice pick, pike. man, cincy’s going to leave a sour end to the night. or, they’ll score a TD to win by one when we needed -2.5
anyone at work tomorrow?
and didnt people quit natty light after college? i was a broke journlaist after college and preferred credit card debt on good beer than natty lite
January 1st, 2009 at 11:06 pm
No work for me. Last day of furlough, then back to work on Monday. That day is going to suck.
And people are assuming that everyone drank very cheap beer during and after college. Never touched the stuff!
January 1st, 2009 at 11:10 pm
Oh and in reference to the picture (and maybe it was said earlier, not sure/willing to scroll up right now), but #2 fucked up the white-out. Maybe that’s why they lost.
January 1st, 2009 at 11:13 pm
and didnt people quit natty light after college? i was a broke journlaist after college and preferred credit card debt on good beer than natty lite TBL
Read the long pointless story. I quit drinking Natty during college. And, yeah, I ran up a CC bill on good beer after college. Buying good beer in upscale shithole clubs was such a waste. Should have stayed home.
No work for me tomorrow.
HawkEye – Yeah, Simmons and the Rocky 5 and I think a Karate Kid 3 movie thing. I’m still convinced he stole that from Bill Hicks commenting on Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash doing Taco Bell commercials in the early 90s. Never happened.

Simmons steal an idea? Never!
And I don’t remember those commercials. Probably better off for it too.

The Natty Light sitting in front of me while typing and watching this “game” is insulted that some you think it is an inferior beer.
Went to an OSU campus bar before the OSU hoop game yesterday. They offered me a lime for my Natty. I was very confused until I tried it. Surprisingly delish! They call it the poor man’s Corona.
/Gotta love campus bars, regardless of where you are.

Johnny Cash Taco Bell commercial.
This was before he hooked up with Rick Rubin for a few great albums and breathed life into his late career (in my opinion, dude.)

Recc – Love my PBR. I have actually purchased PBR Light here in Columbus. Don’t know if it’s a test market thing or not, but it was also quite tasty.
In fact, I was a little bitter that I couldn’t find it for our NYE party last night…

There were some shitty games today. Other than the Citrus and the Cap One none of the games really held it attention. I hope Utah comes to play tomorrow. Ole Miss too.

Let me not smear the record. Cheap beer is great. Just not every night. Cooler/Yard/Hipster Beer has its place. Just not every night. Drinking quarts of Old Milwaukee does strange things to a man’s colon after awhile.

You talk crap about taking out Tebow in a game you miss
Your team Defense went from the top of the SEC to the bottom half
You start the season replacing Dorsey and coming off a Defensive MVP in the Championship game.
You finish the season with 18 tackles a 2 sacks
Do you come back for your senior season and improve your sagging stock?
nope

Hey TBL. Fuck yes. Pac-10 dominates 5 bowl games. Weak conference? Hardly (at least at the top).

Was just reading through the comments, and got to the one about kidney stones. Yes I have had 2. They are the most painful things in the world, no joke. Female nurses told me they had stones and gave birth, stones much worse. Pray every single day of your life you do not get them. It is the single most painful thing that one can experience in this world without actually dying…
