The greatest player in college football history, Tim Tebow – the Four Horseman have nothing on him – stunk up Miami in the first half, and then was his usual dominant self in the final 30 minutes as the Florida Gators captured their second National title in three years with a 24-14 triumph over can’t-win-the-big-game Oklahoma.

Bob Stoops’ high-powered offense committed two turnovers (one on downs) inside the 10-yard line in the first half and had a field goal blocked in the second half. The highest scoring offense in college football history was held to 363 yards, by far its lowest output this season. Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford looked like anything but the No. 1 pick in the April NFL draft, going 26-for-41 for 257 yards with two scores and two picks in by far his worst game of the season.

FOX put together a terrible production of this game. We don’t recall one instance of the announcers showing shots of the Florida defense and what it was doing to rattle Bradford. Don’t even get us started on the silly “reverse” play clock garbage, or Brennaman’s hyperbole from start to finish and incessant fellating of Tebow.
