Reasons for Cavs success:
LBJ is playing better.
Mo is a great addition.
Varejao has improved tremendously (and he missed the 1st 2 months last year in a holdout).
Ben looks healthy and is playing near his 2004 level.
Delonte is playing his best ball by far.
Brown has put more emphasis on the offense and it looks much better.

The Cavs are dominant. Z has been out for 2 weeks and they haven’t missed a beat. They will likely drop 1 or 2 out west because he is out, but it forces Brown to play Hickson more, which is better in the long run. They need a healthy Z to win it all, so my fingers are crossed that he can get back by mid-February healthy and ready for the post season.

anyone else surprised to see how much better the cavs are better this year than last?

yes
is Mo williams to credit?
I think he is the biggest reason, but as Nick P. said Lebron getting better, the team getting used to each other after last year’s trade and no holdout or injuries for AV.
Going forward, for the Cavs to win the title they need a healthy Z and Ben, probably in that order.

/Kobe’s 33 points came on 32 shots, so Rockets played good D even without Artest.

Don’t sleep on DWade for MVP this year. Too bad voters won’t give it to him because their team’s a joke.

Otherwise known as the same reason LeBron doesn’t have four MVP awards by now…
