The Roundup: Championship Sunday
Baseball, College Basketball, College Football, Cougar Love, NBA, NFL, WWE January 18th. 2009, 11:21am
Well kiddies, here we are on Conference Championship Sunday. Not sure about you, but I like Arizona and Pittsburgh. I also like women with breasts. Yesterday we paid homage to Cindy Crawford and a commenter mentioned he was a bigger Kathy Ireland fan. If she’s a part of the equation, I’m going to raise your Kathy and go with Elle MacPherson. Still looking good after all these years.

Everyone is picking Arizona now. This is great news for the Eagles.

I like breasts too, just wanted to throw that out there.

I’m going to go with the Cardinals and Ravens, which naturally means the Eagles and Steelers will play in the “King of Keystone State” Bowl. Damn, the guy who plays Biggie in his biopic really looks like him. Lazy ass crap movie, but the big guy’s a dead ringer.

Jeff Hardy is the WWE champion? Wow, I haven’t followed pro wrestling since the late-90’s but I was under the impression the champ had to at least weigh 220 lbs. and be completely immobile. Good for them for pushing the athletes.

OK, I just posted that w\o clicking anything….I know I may get hammered for saying this — but the Jeff Hardy video may be an angle. I know the WWE embraces anything that comes there way, but to have an up close camera angle and dudes coming out of the woodwork leaves me suspicious. If you remember the PPV where Owen Hart died, they immediately cut away from the scene. As a viewer you didn’t see anything. That’s why I am skeptical. I know that he got engulfed in flames and there was no commentary during it, but as someone who was a HUGE wrestling fan, but hasnt watched it in years…I am taking this with a grain of salt.

Elle Macpherson takes a dip the Dominican Nippublic
/Fixed for accuracy

Pretty sure it’s an angle.. Look at his exaggerated flopping inside the flames. This way they can hype up the “will he or won’t he be able to compete” storyline.

When I used quotes around “Pyro accident”, I was referencing the fact that yes, it’s part of an angle. Silly bastards.

The other day I watched some old wrestling clips on youtube, and couldn’t believe I watched some of that stuff as a kid. And I agree with everyone else about the possibility that the Jeff Hardy video is an angle; you didn’t see a replay of Owen Hart’s fall, or even see it happen live. You got both with Jeff Hardy.

You would like Arizona TBL. The Delaware Valley Area is not pleased with your philly bashing my good man.
GO BIRDS!!

Are you saying that wrestling is scripted? That…that can’t be true, can it. IT’S REAL TO ME!!!!
/love this video

That Pete Carroll story would have made sense if he had mentioned that Sanchez had aready been at USC for four years and will recieve his degree in May. It’s notg a degree in ballroom dancing, but it still counts.

The “real to me” video is a staple of Americana at this point.

Patrick Imig should be in charge of ALL round-up pictures until the end of time!!!!
That way, I won’t be stuck seeing Blake Lively, some stupid soccer girlfriend, or any one of 50 other little talentless sluts who no one will ever remember in 12 months that appear in that post. Cindy, Elle, Rachel, Ireland, Heidi: those girls knew (know) who to bring the heat. More Hall of Famers, less “A Ball” players
