I’m working, goddammit.
Dickie V on Mike & Mike this morning yelling about how Duke should be #1… what a way to start the week.

No way on the work thing, and where has this Shaq Diesel been the last three or four years? Oh yeah, they really weren’t playing defense. Never mind.

Probably a little overdue. The players (reportedly) hate him, and they have been inconsistent all season. I know injuries have played a huge part, but something had to give.

Most business reporters have a real herd mentality. When we’re up, we’re up forever, and when we’re down, we need lifeboats and ammo.
I say this in part because I’m uber-frustrated with the press they’ve given SIRI lately, even though I’m betting they avoid the potential bankruptcy that’s spread across every headline that mentions the stock.

“Yeaaaaaah buddy! Light weight, baby!”
February 16th, 2009 at 8:42 am
Never in my life have I gotten Pres day off.
Who the hell is this Aubrey O’Day whore, saw those heavily airbrushed pics yesterday, heard Playboy paid like 500K for them. Plastic face, plastic boobs, meh.
February 16th, 2009 at 8:44 am
well put
dude, do you have sirius stock? i had always wanted some, glad i held off.
February 16th, 2009 at 8:51 am
I don’t know which play you have up from last night, video blocked at work, but I hope it is Shaq’s nutmeg of D-Ho on the give and go. I think he’s been watching his premiere league highlights.

The Kenseth pic looks fake. The cats in the pic take his wife down about 3 points in my book.

I bought SIRI at 14 cents. It promptly went to 6 cents. Trading around .13 after hours Friday.
I’m in long now (would love to ride this thing to 3-4 dollars). Tomorrow their debt is due, so they’ll either get help from a “white knight” and the stock will be in the .20 range by the end of the day or they’ll declare BK (wiping us all out).
Stocks trading at .14 are sexy, and the potential reward is real. And I bought in because I really believe SIRI will not declare BK (despite the headlines and news in the financial press). But the risk of losing your entire investment is also real, so I wouldn’t throw more at the stock than you’re willing to gamble.
If they don’t BK tomorrow, the stock will see a bump. Safest time to buy is the pullback after that bump while others take profits. But even if they don’t declare BK tomorrow, there are still two more massive debt repayments this year plus a threat of Nasdaq delisting (or a reverse split) if the price doesn’t get to $1. The stock won’t be out of the woods until 2010 IMHO.

Dang, I work for the state government and I didn’t get the day off. What is up with that. School is out though.
February 16th, 2009 at 9:02 am
does your state have furloughs, yet, GG?
February 16th, 2009 at 9:02 am
bummer to have it blocked at work. but yes, you are correct on the play.
February 16th, 2009 at 9:09 am
Sacramone needs more cleavage.

Working for the FIRST time in my career. That’s what happens when I move from banking to insurance…
Shaq was definitely the highlight of the All Star game… Dancing with Jabbawocky (sp?), his attempts at being Nash-like in the 3rd quarter, and making DHo look like Jeff Agoos circa 2001. Basketball needs more personalities like him to prevent the game from being a snoozer…
February 16th, 2009 at 9:21 am
i really need to try out one of these jobs that gives presidents day off.
February 16th, 2009 at 9:36 am
Was vocal that Therrien didn’t deserve the extension last summer, so obviously I’m happy about the move. However the decision to retain Mike Yeo, when the Pens have the third worst powerplay in the league with the two top scorers in the league, is inexcusable.

I had almost forgotten about Alicia whats-her-face. Thank goodness she’s interviewing more people I’ve never heard of for the
newrebranded Gatorade. Also, we should reevaluate the instances where its OK to throw around “busty.”February 16th, 2009 at 11:00 am
If throwing around busty is wrong, then I don’t want to be right.

@ Tick – Wanna talk about it? I’m in a simliar boat. Just curious what you’re moving on to.
