Utah Jazz owner Larry Miller died peacefully yesterday after an 8-month struggle with diabetes-related health complications. “Miller was able to enjoy the Jazz’s victories over the L.A. Lakers and Boston in the last two weeks. After beating the Lakers, Greg Miller said, “He said, plain and simple, ‘That’s one for the good guys.’” Larry Miller became a 50% co-owner of the Jazz in 1985 and took over completely a year later. He was 64. (Salt Lake Tribune)
