day & age is their latest one. very good. my favorite song is spaceman…for some reason it reminds me of going to basic training..i dont know why but it just does.

@Gods: I highly recommend you go to Jerusalem. I studied Arabic in Jordan for a summer and spent a few days in Jerusalem, it was by far the coolest place I’ve ever been. I’m not religious either (at all), but we stayed in a hostel in the old city (Jewish quarter, I think, or Christian), and there was a rooftop sitting area, so we were just sitting there with the dome of the rock right in front of us, the wailing wall just down to the right, and the church of the holy sepulchre to the left. It was awesome. Jordan has a lot of cool stuff too, and the dead sea was great as well.

There was that thing called 9/11 and a LOT of the dudes were from Egypt. I was no stupid and naive that I walked into a Mosque on a Friday night just because I wanted to see what it was like. I slipped off my shoes, grabbed a prayer rug, and tried to kneel down when the rest of the guys did.

When I told the Egyptian guys I met over there on my business trip what I did, they turned white and said I was lucky they didn’t kill me. Americans (at least me) are so stupid!

saw the pyramids when i was 13, really, really, really, fuckin awesome. The Sphinx is a joke though, its teeny tiny compared to the pyramids.

Gods: The Pyramids were UNBELIEVABLE. It was the greatest trip of my life. I saw the Giza Pymamids, went diving in the Red Sea at Sharm-el Sheikh, rode a camel for 10 miles in the desert next to the Pyramida at night, and had a Bedouin dinner in the middle of the desert. It was the most incredible two weeks of my life. I was there in 5/01, right before 9/11. I was sup[osed to go back in November, but obviously things changed.

That sounds totally badass. Very cool.
