Scott Skiles is Not Thrilled About Charlie Villanueva’s Halftime Tweet
1-liner, NBA March 18th. 2009, 11:45amCharlie Villanueva: Milwaukee Bucks coach/fuddy-duddy Scott Skiles is making sure Villanueva won’t be tweeting at halftime again. “We made a point to address Charlie and the team that it’s nothing we ever want to happen again. We don’t want to blow it out of proportion, but anything that gives the impression that we are not serious and focused at all times, is not the correct way we want to go about our business. It’s something we just want to distance ourselves from, that’s all.”

I get that people wouldn’t be thrilled about this but its not like he was joking around or anything, he said the coach wants more intensity and they ended up winning the game. All he did was scoop the sideline reporter.

I hate twitter, but doesn’t this incident actually reflect positively on Skiles and CV? They did end up winning…

How did tweet become the verb form of twitter anyway? The whole thing confuses me.

skiles is a badass and a top 10 coach in the nba, maybe top 5 in terms of x’s and o’s, and instilling a defensive philosophy. he’s one of the most misunderstood guys in sports.

Why is my post still awaiting moderation? Other people can say the T word and I cant?
