Detroit 98, Washington 96: Oh, the irony – former Wizard Kwame Brown blocked a Gilbert Arenas game-winning 3-point attempt in the final seconds and the Pistons averted a late collapse. In his first game of the season, Arenas was 3-for-12 in 29 minutes, scored 15 points and had 10 assists.

Golden State 116, Denver 129: It must be so fun to play in one of those meaningless late-season games against the Warriors. They don’t play defense to begin with, so March-April games must be like pick-up ball. Four guys off Denver’s bench scored in double figures. Golden State rookie Anthony Randolph had his third straight solid game – 10 points, 14 rebounds, four blocks.

Indiana 106, Chicago 112: B Rush is finishing his rookie year with a flourish – a career-high 29 points in his fourth straight double-figure scoring game. Eager to see next preseason’s battle between Rush vs Dunleavy for the starting job. Bulls lead Pistons by half-a-game for the 7th seed.

Milwaukee 85, Miami 102: For the three Bucks’ fans who read this blog, sorry, the playoffs aren’t happening. You’ve known that for a week; it was written in the preseason. Charlotte and Next Town Brown have surged past the injured-plagued Bucks.

Phoenix 99, Utah 104, OT: Jazz blow a 21-point second half lead, and thanks to Deron Williams, rallied to win in overtime. Remember a few years ago when Deron Williams led an insane late comeback against Arizona in the Elite 8?
