Washington and Sacramento Can Race to the Bottom: Blake Griffin Entering Draft
1-liner, College Basketball, NBA Draft April 7th. 2009, 6:15pmBlake Griffin: Announced at a presser today he’s going to enter the NBA draft. He’s going to be the No. 1 pick, no doubt; it’s just a matter of where he’s going. Currently, the Kings hold a slight edge over Washington and the Clippers for the best chance at the No. 1 pick. We’ll know for sure seven weeks from today when the ping pong balls go into the hopper. The league probably hopes the Wizards or Clippers get him (read: market); but we’re not sure David Stern wants such a promising young lad playing in the horribly-run “other” LA organization.

I would not wish playing for the Clippers on any rookie. That’s just cruel.

As opposed to the model franchise in our nation’s capital?
