Jason Peters Traded
1-liner, NFL April 18th. 2009, 11:15amJason Peters was traded to the Eagles yesterday. “In exchange for Peters, the Eagles gave Buffalo the 28th pick in the first round and their fourth-round selection (121st overall) in next weekend’s draft. The Bills also will get a sixth-round pick in 2010. The Eagles still have the 21st pick in the first round of this year’s draft.” Don’t worry Buffalo fans, I’m sure there’s a Pro Bowl left tackle waiting in one of those draft picks. Personally, I blame T.O. (Philadelphia Inquirer)

Who is going to protect his quarterback man?

Good fucking riddance. Overrated and wanted major cash.
Personally, think the Bills did well (I know am in the majority). They’re playing the game the way it’s done today: took an undrafted free agent, and converted that to 3 draft picks, including #28 overall, and saved $10-$11 million/year and will replace him for $2-3 million/year
Now, they go draft a Michael Oher or Andre Smith if he slides at 11 to replace him and save the cash, then pick up Pettigrew or a pash rusher at #28.
Works for me

Not so, I know a couple Bills fans and they say the same thing, good not great, not worth the money or headache.

You’ve effectively lowered the bar enough to where anything you do is a positive surprise. Congrats, CRM.

Echo Nick on CRM but no points would be earned in my scoring system for that Woo Hoo but plenty on other posts.
What the hell happened last weekend CRM? Were you just FD&H with the family on Easter Sunday mesmerised by Jim Nantz all day? Great recovery.
Also, this means the local trade rumour about getting Boldin using the same pick number 28 and a 3rd round pick and ? has been squashed, for the rumour goes that the Eagles won’t give away pick number 21 with anything else for Boldin.
