Little Leaguers Come to the Defense of Elijah Dukes, Offer to Pay His Fine
Baseball, Youth Sports April 21st. 2009, 9:00am
A year ago at this time, embattled outfielder Elijah Dukes was cleaning zoo cages in Tampa as part of his probation for misdemeanor drug possession.
Today, his $500 fine for being late to the ballpark Sunday will be paid for … the reason for his tardiness – the Northern Virginia Little Leaguers he was speaking to prior to the game.
“We were just really horrified by that, so our first thought was we want to raise the money in the community to pay that fine. We just think it’s appalling.”
You want appalling, lady? Talk to Elijah’s ex-wife.
Now It’s the Community Giving Back to Dukes (Washington Post)

Little Leaguers giving away that much money, in this economy? Tsk, tsk.

You have to give the guy some credit for trying to change. One talk to Little Leaguers doesn’t give him a clean slate, but it’s a start.
Rules are rules. He broke the rule, he should pay the fine. Threatening to send him back to the minors was a little over the top for a manager whose name I can’t remember.

I definitely wouldn’t go near a Wal-Mart on a weekend in Northern Virginia for awhile. Down here, it’s like walking into Mumbai on a weekend with the Little Leagers, Cheerleaders, Girl Scouts and other various suburban street urchins hawking you at the entrances

I thought the punishment was laughable, but come on Little League, he can afford the $500.

True. So, true. At least the MILF factor is there to counter-balance the annoyance of little snot slingers begging for money.

When I went to Catholic School my buddies would go into the locker room and steal money out of he younger kids wallets durring Gym. Some days they would come with $500s. These kids got it.

This is awesome.

JPQ, truer words weren’t ever spoken. I got harassed by three different groups going into Wal-Mart in NOVA last spring. The one girl was kinda a bitch about me not wanting to pay for her cheer trip. Said something like “Whatever creep.” I stopped, turned around and said, “You would be on a street corner if you could find anyone that would pay to fuck you.”
There were tears and they sure as hell didn’t ask me for money on my way back out of the store.

@KC- I really haven’t seen many MILF’s in Walmarts near me, maybe NOVA is different and they are quite prevalent or maybe you have ridiculously low standards. What I have seen are a lot of MILHWS’s (Mothers I’d Like to Hit With a Shovel).

The lesson learned here is that BraveSrRob looks at little girls and determines whether or not they’re fuckable.

At the Walmart(s) near where I live, you’re likelier to see women that can pass for carnies, than MILFs.
We get a lot of LETSWBS’s (lazy eyed teenage skanks with bad skin) and WUBA’s (women with ultra big asses).
Walmart is grody. However, there are always hyper aggressive kids outside trying to peddle their fundraising shit.

Don’t project Darrell

I’m not projecting, I’m just reading you. The first thing that came to your mind when this girl (supposedly)insulted you was something sexual.
