Reason to Love the Internet
1-liner, NFL April 22nd. 2009, 11:15amCool: This one’s for the Eagles fans who may be concerned with new OL Jason Peters giving up too many sacks – an incredibly passionate Bills fans cut video on every sack Peters gave up last year. What a labororious task. How many sacks were the fault of Peters? You decide. Just a guess, but you won’t see anything cooler than this today. (Buffalo Bills.com via Cracker jack)

Peters is going to be a top-10 left tackle for the Eagles, but I still wouldn’t put him on an island against an elite speed rusher, meaning they better have a back or TE chipping when they play the Cowboys and Giants. They should still beat the Cowboys, regardless.

Crazy how this guy was a TE at Arkansas. Now he’s the highest paid tackle in NFL history after like four seasons in the league.

Crazy how this guy was a TE at Arkansas. Now he’s the highest paid tackle in NFL history after like four seasons in the league.
Undrafted free agent signing by the Bills. The Bills made this fuck into an elite NFL player, and he shits on them because after one good season (‘07), he decides he wants to be the highest paid LT in the league, and doesn’t report to OTA’s or camp and holds out while under contract.
He finally reports, doesn’t play as well as ‘07 due to missing camp, yet is selected to the Pro Bowl. Again, he says he wants $11.5 million/year or he won’t report until the 10th game to ensure pension longevity. Now the Eagles extend his 2 years and $7 million left on his Bills deal by giving him 4 extra years at $53 million ($25 guaranteed). Rotsa ruck w/ that.
Don’t let the door hit ‘ya in the ass, Jason.
I admit the Bills are not as good a team w/out Peters, but I never would have let him hold me hostage for that money. He isn’t worth it.
