Slowly and collectively, the sports blogging world exhales and begins to cry
We’ll become a fan of whatever team he gets chosen by

Stephen Curry is the next steve nash. He is gonna be a stud PG in the league in a few years. He is quick and with his killer j he is gonna be a tough guard for most defenders. I do worry that he may also have nash’s defensive prowess (or lack thereof) as well.

3 years of college? MISTAKE! You can’t go back for a degree. He’ll be out on the streets without a penny in 6 months.
/Dell Who?

Uhhh… unless Stephen grows 6 inches and turns into Kevin Durant, he is gonna get eaten up in the NBA. With that frame and height???
He should just pull a Josh Childress and play in Europe make 50 million and retire. Better than being a 3rd string point guard used when the team is down 20 points and needs to jack up 3s.

Knicks. I want you to root for the Knicks.

hopboy – you must have missed it when we initially went over it – he can easily pack on 10-15 lbs before next season, and there’s a chance he could grow another inch or get up to 6-4.
guess you forget how he – by himself – abused georgetown, gonzaga and michigan state two years ago. this year, without any help at all, the team struggled.
when he’s got 4 nba teammates, he’ll be fine. i hope he falls to the low teens and goes to a team on the cusp

The kid can shoot. That’s obvious. I am just saying there are a lot of 6′1 quick guys who can shoot and they don’t become stars in the NBA. He will probably have a journeyman career but any talk of him being a star is foolish.
(Btw, NBA draft.net has him listed as 6′1, going to the Bulls at 16. I don’t see him taking Rose’s spot as a starting point guard)

if the bull draft him instead of a inside presence i will personally punch paxson in the face.(if he is even with the bulls by then)

Easier said than done. The body fills out when it feels like it. He’s going to have problems putting on weight for a bit.

The Lakers select…
Nah, I still think he’ll blame Kobe if Curry goes 2-14 from the field in a game. He would fit as a replacement for an aging Fisher, tho.
