Those teachers made ridiculous coin for life by doing what a lot of union do: bank vacation and use it to retire early, or to increase their last few year&#039;s pay, which is what their pension is based on.I knew union guys who would work ridiculous OT for the last 2-3 years they worked, raise their pay by 40%, and then get a pension based on those last two year&#039;s pay (plus healthcare for life).
