The Minnesota Flight to Hattiesburg: Favre False Alarm
1-liner, NFL April 30th. 2009, 11:15amThe Vikings and Favre: A mysterious flight yesterday – hmmmm, right after Favre was released? – from Minneapolis to Hattiesburg, Mississippi, set of all sorts of alarms that maybe the Vikings were making a move on the Packers’ legend. No. Just some unimportant Target executives (via Vikings age). When Minnesota loses three straight to fall to 5-3 entering a bye week in November, that’s when the Favre talk will really begin in earnest. But Rachel Nichols should go ahead and just rent a house near Favre this summer just in case.

Ah TBL Godfather, thank you for the well-deserved shot at Rachel Nichols. More to come please.

no favre. pretty please.

Seeing as the Vikings have never won a Super Bowl, I sure as hell would take winning a Super Bowl and going back to square one.

@Texans: The Bills could’ve used a deal like that.

I’d be one to argue, probably to rampant disagreement from others here as usual, that Favre could still play at a high level with the right system for him. The catch is that at his age, there is not the time for the patience needed of three years, as for a young QB, to hit the “zone” of performance of TD passes to interceptions with a stable team and system.
Of course all bets are off, as is likely, if Favre does not tone down his gunslinging instincts of trying to force in way too many throws with that strong arm. Consider his interception stats at the end of his career versus Elway, Marino, and Kelly in that order on Pro Football reference:

(Note that Favre had such major issues in 3 out of his last 4 seasons)

(Whatever Elway did at age 33 to solve the interception ratio problem from earlier in his career, it worked obviously)

(Marino’s major interception ratio problem came largely in his last season when it was definitely time to hang it up)

(about the same situation at the end of his career as Marino)

What are you talking about Reaazy? Oh wait, why do I care anymore to hear anything from a serious dipshit like you with nothing substantive to add or support for it EVER here? Show us one example of a meaningful previous contribution? Attach the link? Good luck.
What the heck, I’ll just help you out with a subliminal post for you for everyone’s better understanding how’s that? Everyone, what Reazzy is really saying is something like this:
Okay Reaaazy, if you can really do better than that subliminal post of yours copied here to contribute, do it. And if you can’t like I think you can’t, obviously just keeping fucking yourself.

My posted links on that are awaiting moderation, and then I saw another one of Reaaazy’s douchebag remarks so went at that.

Hey Reaaazy, you might enjoy taking some from other douchebags like SuperAndy on weekends, Diesel, Gerwood, and GFunk for starters. Why not just start your own blog with those tools here and do some of us with more to add here that spans more than ten simple words a favour?

Paolo is close to posting more than TBL today.

@paolo- Diesel is good people on here

Actually I think that post above about quarterbacks was only my second post today, and I was about done. Then asshole Reaaazy decided to start something, so of course I posted more so we can see if he is for real or just the pussy he makes himself out to be.
It appears from his knowledge of the matter that some faggot’s balls are in his mouth now so we will have to see later if he is anything but a pussy with anything substantive to add here. He never has added anything substantive lest he can furnish us proof.

Irish, the posts I have seen repeatedly from Diesel weigh against him, but I am open to see something better out of folks. For example, I have disagreement almost always and often irritating with a few guys like MikeNYC, Duder, and Spencer, but still I respect their opinions and contributions here.
But heck Diesel hates me like a few others, which is no big deal and comes with anyone speaking their minds freely, but if if someone can’t get past whatever hate they have to read something informative someone posts when not just screwing around or “machine gunning” to have some fun, well then there is nothing doing.
