Anybody Think the Magic Have a Chance?
NBA May 4th. 2009, 6:30pm
They’re supposedly better without their best player, and they’re starting backcourt could easily be confused for one in the NBDL: Rafer Alston and JJ Redick (rookie Courtney Lee’s going to miss at least the first two games). While we’ll be actively rooting for Orlando – we may have to fish out an old Nick Anderson shirt from the depths of our closet – we’re a bit torn on which way the series will go.
Pro Orlando: The aging, injured Celtics are going to be way too spent from the last series to win this one.
Pro Boston: Orlando doesn’t have the guard firepower that Chicago did in Gordon/Rose.
Pro Orlando: Perkins is the only guy to guard Howard; after that, Boston’s super-thin up front.
Pro Boston: The Magic are the worst FT shooting team in the league. Good luck in a close game!
Pro Orlando: Boston hasn’t beaten us in two games this year without KG! (Technically, 1 3/4 games)
Pro Orlando: Who’s going to guard Rashard Lewis? Big Baby? Bwwwwaaahhhhhhhh!
We’ll take Boston in six. The Lakers and Rockets will have their own post later.

Magic in 5
May 4th, 2009 at 6:41 PM
No Garnett or ineffective Garnett at some point in series = Magic in 5.
May 4th, 2009 at 6:41 PM
Magic in 3.
May 4th, 2009 at 6:45 PM
Having read all these comments, putting money on Boston to win the series sounds like a great idea.

Smart man.
May 4th, 2009 at 6:53 PM

Crap. My ORL +120 wager I just placed for G1 is starting to make me a little nervous now.
May 4th, 2009 at 7:18 PM
Ill, what book do you use? I just switched over to Matchbook and couldn’t be happier.
May 4th, 2009 at 7:18 PM
Orlando has no shot to win this series.
May 4th, 2009 at 7:21 PM
Crosby > Ovechkin.
May 4th, 2009 at 7:22 PM
Mike – I go thru a local guy here in DC. I really haven’t had an online account in sometime, so I’m out of touch with the different sites.
May 4th, 2009 at 7:22 PM
maybe in the teeth department.

May 4th, 2009 at 7:25 PM
Versus acting like zip code restrictions are new. Caps officials had to buy up all the tickets on craigslist.
May 4th, 2009 at 7:31 PM
DAMNIT TANGER
May 4th, 2009 at 7:32 PM
Versus acting like zip code restrictions are new. Caps officials had to buy up all the tickets on craigslist.
There are so many d-bags from Pitt who migrated down to DC for work. You see almost as many Steelers jerseys as Skins jerseys during the NFL season.
May 4th, 2009 at 7:34 PM
Yeah I know, regular season there were tons of Penguins fans there. That’s what happens when a city’s economy collapses in the nineties and everyone flees I suppose.
And then of course there was the MNF game.
May 4th, 2009 at 7:35 PM
lol nice truthful interview by BB there. He looks so much like Pete from McGyver.
May 4th, 2009 at 7:38 PM
And then of course there was the MNF game.
That was so bad.
May 4th, 2009 at 7:41 PM

May 4th, 2009 at 7:42 PM
Time to see the least effective five on three in the league
May 4th, 2009 at 7:45 PM
*facepalm*
May 4th, 2009 at 7:46 PM
Varly looks good. Theodore can start playing golf.
May 4th, 2009 at 7:47 PM
The Blue Jackets are already out… Can’t be the least effective…
May 4th, 2009 at 7:47 PM
And get paid an asston to do it. Hard to tell which was the worse deal between him and Huet. Everybody but those two GMs saw that coming too.
May 4th, 2009 at 7:48 PM
Actually I take that back, Huet is worse because his deal was for more years.
May 4th, 2009 at 7:55 PM
HIMYM: robin or lily?
robin has that plane jane face at certain times.
verdict: lily
May 4th, 2009 at 8:06 PM
jesus nice defense. Wide open net.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:07 PM
JJ Reddick on Ray Allen…. that is awful.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:08 PM
Brilliant game plan, give him uncontested shots.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:08 PM
celts offense lacking energy early
May 4th, 2009 at 8:10 PM
Hey look at replay of game one, down to the same stupid fucking penalty.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:10 PM
im all for huge blocks….but why smack it out of bounds if you can tip it to yourself and get your team the ball?
May 4th, 2009 at 8:13 PM
Apparently Doc Emerick is on first name terms with Ovechkin
May 4th, 2009 at 8:15 PM

May 4th, 2009 at 8:17 PM
The fuck is Lebron doing hanging out with him? Is he just completely oblivious to the sports franchises in his own state?
May 4th, 2009 at 8:18 PM
If it’s Robin from the pilot, then Robin. If not, then Willow. I mean Lily.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:19 PM
celtics are sloppy as hell…settling for jumpers…they look tired
May 4th, 2009 at 8:20 PM
Jesus. If the Pens could get chances off like the Caps could this game would get out of hand. However they don’t have any scoring wingers … so yeah.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:23 PM
i hate sidney crosby
May 4th, 2009 at 8:24 PM
WOOOOO
May 4th, 2009 at 8:25 PM
24 points in the first…what the hell happened to the defense on this team?
May 4th, 2009 at 8:25 PM
What a shift, he is just such a better skater than everyone else on the ice.
This is going to turn into Bird/Magic shit soon.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:26 PM
yeah crosby!
May 4th, 2009 at 8:28 PM
Neither of those shots were goalbound, take your mouth off the rookie’s cock whoever the fuck you are color guy.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:30 PM
@BSSM: Replace Garnett with Fat Baby. Question answered.
@mole: What’s your avatar?
May 4th, 2009 at 8:30 PM
the baby Pens suck so I’m not really surprised they’re down 2-0 to the Bears who are really really good. But the Bears have Joe Finley aka the biggest waste of a 1st round pick ever, so that makes me happier
May 4th, 2009 at 8:30 PM
Probably Ogie Oglethorpe from Slapshot
May 4th, 2009 at 8:31 PM
celts biting for every single upfake by the magic outside the arc
May 4th, 2009 at 8:33 PM
Goal!!
May 4th, 2009 at 8:34 PM
For those not watching Himym, the yellow umbrella just got broken out… I am officially going to shit my pants with excitement
May 4th, 2009 at 8:34 PM
Killer defense again. Has Washington had an uncontested goal yet? Christ.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:35 PM
JerseyYo!: I’m excited, but I’m also betting it’s just another tease.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:36 PM
Nice late whistle fuckface.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:37 PM
stephon marbury
May 4th, 2009 at 8:37 PM
Killer defense again. Has Washington had an uncontested goal yet? Christ.
You mean a contested goal?
May 4th, 2009 at 8:38 PM
Yeah, I meant the exact opposite of what I said, because of course I’m a fucking moron. Fleury has gotten hung out to dry on each one, only the rebound one on the first goal of the series was a bad one to give up.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:39 PM
Would love for the former Indian to no-hit them.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:39 PM
DIVE DIVE DIVE
Holy shit that’s some shameful crap right there.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:40 PM
Marbury starting to shoot is the worst possible thing that could happen to the Celtics. He needs to continue to know his role. I know he is 4/5 so far in this game, but only one of those shots what a good look.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:44 PM
celtics refuse to drive to the basket
May 4th, 2009 at 8:46 PM
@BSSM: You don’t like to watch Fat Baby drain college 3 pointers?
May 4th, 2009 at 8:48 PM
Closest that ball came to the rim was about 21 feet.
/horrible camera angle
May 4th, 2009 at 8:49 PM
no i don’t like a) tony allen playing b) no free throws because they never drive to the basket and c) how fucking thin the frontcourt is..so far i was wrong thinking it wasnt going to be an issue
May 4th, 2009 at 8:51 PM
marebears five goals five different ways game on vs right now
May 4th, 2009 at 8:56 PM
I wish I knew what has gotten into Michael Cuddyer. Not that I mind.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:57 PM
LaPorta first homerun. Totally worth it to trade CC.
May 4th, 2009 at 8:58 PM
36 points..down 20…think that answers the question of whether the celtics had any gas left over from the bulls series
May 4th, 2009 at 8:58 PM
I forgot to adjust my roster today and left Maholm on the bench. Fuck.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:01 PM
Boston better hope that RayRay didn’t blow his wad in the Bulls’ series. He looks like their only chance to keep games close. Of course, he’ll actually have to face defense this series, so the free 3’s will not be a factor.
1 half does not a series make, but the Celtics look old and tired.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:02 PM
LaPorta first homerun.
Pick him up!
/he’ll hit many more in his career
May 4th, 2009 at 9:02 PM
Oh, and…
I’ll take Lily. I like maple syrup…
/HIMYM inside joke’d
May 4th, 2009 at 9:07 PM
lol @ the dickbag behind the Pens bench who is wearing a red Louisville polo. Big fan that guy.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:10 PM
Im a little disapointed at the end of HIMYM. Was that for real? Or is she just going to lead him to the real mother? I dont want it to be her.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:12 PM
just picking up the game at the half … not totally surprised to see the score.
boston hasn’t attempted a foul shot? hahahahahaha
May 4th, 2009 at 9:16 PM
tbl..bostons leading scorer is 8…team has nothing in the tank
May 4th, 2009 at 9:16 PM
Stupid penalty to take there.
btw my ass is paying me back for that dominoes bowl last night
May 4th, 2009 at 9:16 PM
Interference is just another way of saying you got knocked the fuck out Malkin
May 4th, 2009 at 9:18 PM
that’s for the laporta update. only was able to get him in 1 of 3 leagues
May 4th, 2009 at 9:19 PM
good
May 4th, 2009 at 9:19 PM
Just a Steckel of fluoride.
Laporta got drafted in my keeper league.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:19 PM
Oh don’t tell me the Indy 500 is on Versus this year.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:20 PM
TBL – are those AL only leagues? Keeper? I don’t see him being real valuable right now in a full league.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:20 PM
maholm was cruising for a win, up 3-1 … and some clown in the pen just coughed it up. blast. at least liriano still leads 6-1 …
May 4th, 2009 at 9:21 PM
Good lord what a wasteful powerplay.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:21 PM
GOAL!!!!
May 4th, 2009 at 9:21 PM
Terrible game for Malkin. Christ almighty.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:21 PM
Ovie!!!!
May 4th, 2009 at 9:22 PM
There’s your series.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:22 PM
redick for 3! up 20.
i’d love to see Redick get all cocky
when that guy gets hot, it’s fun to watch
May 4th, 2009 at 9:24 PM
Can they just skip ahead to the Laker game
May 4th, 2009 at 9:24 PM
His stick got caught between his chest and the boards, ouch.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:24 PM
As a fan of two ACC schools that are NOT Duke I would also like to see him drop a bunch. If only to make me feel better about all the times he did it to my teams.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:25 PM
I agree, that was a let down. Nothing against Sarah Chalke, but if Ted were to end up with anyone we’ve met I’d prefer that it be that girl who went to Germany. But I would rather it be someone else entirely.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:25 PM
wow rooting for magic is cool even though u dont give a shit abt em
rooting for redick is pathetic
time for a c’s comeback!
May 4th, 2009 at 9:25 PM
redick again, and the lead is 28!!!!!
May 4th, 2009 at 9:26 PM
His stick got caught between his chest and the boards, ouch.
It looked like a separated shoulder or collarbone. Painful.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:27 PM
Scalabrine just taught Redick a lesson
May 4th, 2009 at 9:27 PM
BSSM: bill russell aint walking through those doors.
doc would be wise to rest his starters in the fourth quarter.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:27 PM
Ovie for the hat trick!!
May 4th, 2009 at 9:27 PM
Scalabrine mean mugging after that 3 is hilarious.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:28 PM
Series. There’s your real MVP, Malkin just a complete non factor in another big series and getting outclasses.
Lots of work to do in the offseason Shero.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:29 PM
celts making a run and scal tries to drive…jesus christ
May 4th, 2009 at 9:30 PM
Crosby > Ovechkin.
Fail.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:30 PM
ballsy for rondo to try and dunk on howard. if he throws that down, it could have been a series-changer
May 4th, 2009 at 9:31 PM
They’ve both been huge this game.
Ovechkin’s supporting cast this series > Crosby’s supporting cast this series. By a MILE.
Anybody > Malkin right now
May 4th, 2009 at 9:31 PM
Pretty good for a mother of three.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:33 PM
lol great post title
May 4th, 2009 at 9:33 PM
I agree mole. I’m not complaining with either on my team.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:37 PM
It’s certainly been the performance the league needed, it really has been back and forth.
Malkin was a non factor in the finals last year until the last game, and he has been invisible for large chunks of this year’s playoffs. Can’t blame it on not being used to the long seasons anymore, simply needs to step it up. And really, what has to be done to get Crosby a scoring winger? Grit is nice and all, but that kind of play is meant for the second and third line. I don’t know if Shero has noticed, and he hasn’t, but Crosby can handle his own shit out there. With the cap likely dropping this team is going to be in a bit of trouble if they can’t land somebody on the cheap. May need to ship out somebody in the offseason.
Caps are the better team, I concede.
But fuck this Varlamov kid, a team with actual goal scorers outside of their top line center is going to give him trouble.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:38 PM
win or lose…i love this celtics teams grit and heart
May 4th, 2009 at 9:39 PM
after pietrus 3..its probably lose
May 4th, 2009 at 9:40 PM
Im setting the over/under at 8 1/2 episodes for Will Smiths wifes new show.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:41 PM
Jesus hattricks for both, could the NHL have asked for anything better?
May 4th, 2009 at 9:42 PM
But fuck this Varlamov kid, a team with actual goal scorers outside of their top line center is going to give him trouble.
We’ll see, but I don’t agree.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:43 PM
Sorry ill I should have qualified. I meant at hockey, not at scoring goals. Although that Crosby can do that in addition to all the other stuff he does is fine by me.
Caps are definitely the better team tho I’ll give you that. Shero needs to go.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:44 PM
I’m sure he’ll somehow end up playing in Detroit in two years anyhow, as they’ll somehow manage to be the only team five million under the cap.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:44 PM
Airball a FT to the side? Wow.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:45 PM
Ryan Perry is in the show? Wow the Tigers must be hard up for relievers.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:46 PM
10 FT’s for Rondo in the 3rd quarter?
May 4th, 2009 at 9:47 PM
Must have gotten tired of all those shots. Reason he airball-ed one
May 4th, 2009 at 9:49 PM
I look forward to Shero using Boucher instead of calling up Goligoski.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:49 PM
28 point lead trimmed to 14 in the 3rd quarter?
the way Orlando shoots FTs?
Ray Allen still not hot?
who are we kidding – Boston’s spent just mounting this rally
May 4th, 2009 at 9:50 PM
tough foul on baby at a bad time
May 4th, 2009 at 9:52 PM
i think boston has a shot at a comeback
May 4th, 2009 at 9:53 PM
Just because I like getting flogged online…
Greinke – 6 innings. 3 hits. 8 K’s. 0 Runs. Still going strong.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:53 PM
I wish there were good wingers who are going to be taken at the end of the 1st round. Well ones that I know about and aren’t from the WHL or something anyways.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:54 PM
If Rondo keeps driving the refs will keep calling fouls. Just depends if Rondo wants to drive non-stop.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:54 PM
would love to see the royals make the playoffs
they dont even have gordon right now
/know that cause hes on my struggling fantasy team
May 4th, 2009 at 9:55 PM
would not be surprised if Boston cut it to like 4-5 points … but i can’t imagine them winning this. wont have the legs
May 4th, 2009 at 9:56 PM
I just got back in and turned the game on. Has JJ done anything tonight?
May 4th, 2009 at 9:56 PM
BSSM – He just had a press conference today. He was told by his docs to not even swing a bat iat a a ball for six weeks. Sounds like he is out at lesat two months.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:56 PM
KILLER MISSED STEAL…wow.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:58 PM
NO QUIT BABY!
May 4th, 2009 at 9:59 PM
get a timeout SVG
can you get a PG, too?
down to 10.
marv albert seems poised for a 4th quarter full of fantastic calls
May 4th, 2009 at 9:59 PM
Well the last sure fire winger that went in the range the Pens will be drafting from is dead, so you never know.
They don’t have a top line winger in their system, and maybe MAYBE have a top six winger in Caputi. They need to suck it up and convert Staal to a winger and let Max run the third line, he’s a pretty good defensive center.
Defense needs an overhaul though. Scuderi and Gill should both be gone in free agency. Some dipshit team will give Scuderi three million a year, and he’s not worth half of that. Goligoski and Lovejoy should both be starting next year, and Eaton could well be the odd man out. Lovejoy is a plus minus monster on a team that isn’t particularly good, and Goligoski can move the puck better than Whitney could.
We’ll have to see what happens with the cap, but god if they could get Gaborik on the cheap that would be incredible.
I’d still trade Staal for Frolov or Staal for Kovalchuk and a first rounder though if the offer were made.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:59 PM
cgb – redick hit two bombs in the 3rd quarter when Orlando pushed its lead to 65-37. that’s correct – orlando led by 28 in the third quarter.
it’s down to 10 with about 10 mins left.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:02 PM
seriously PG issues for orlando. getting the ball over the court is now an adventure
May 4th, 2009 at 10:03 PM
Mole, there are some good guys on the NDTP who will be available around there. Most of them are listed as centers but I think you could move most of them to forward and they’d fit right in.
I don;t think I can go with you on the Staal trade. Kovalchuk is great, and the first would be a good one, but Staal is awesome.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:03 PM
i havent been watching the game but i just read that rappaport was mean mugging someone after a 3. is that a true story?
May 4th, 2009 at 10:03 PM
too many missed opportunities for the celtics
May 4th, 2009 at 10:04 PM
and let the FT woes begin. get redick on the floor, at least he makes em
May 4th, 2009 at 10:04 PM
If Orlando blows this the SVG blame game is going to be priceless. I wonder if @the_real_shaq will bury him some more.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:05 PM
i think that’s just what red heads with goatees look like when they smile?
May 4th, 2009 at 10:05 PM
Scalabrine is so crafty
May 4th, 2009 at 10:05 PM
BSSM – http://www.kansascity.com/784/story/1178307.html
Greinke – 7 innings. 3 hits. 9 K’s. 0 runs. 79 pitches.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:07 PM
Yeah, they’d have the most stacked injury list in the league.
I still think Pens/Caps goes 7, but good lord Pitt’s D is bad. It would also help if Malkin grew a pair and showed up for once.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:08 PM
orlando is nuts. just jacking 3s and not even getting DH a touch
really, they deserve to lose with this beyond horrible shot selection
can orlando get a D reb?
May 4th, 2009 at 10:08 PM
damnit celtics can’t get anything going..they’re so close
May 4th, 2009 at 10:10 PM
Hey I’ve gotta believe in something at this point. He looked great when he came back this year though. And there’s nobody in the league to give someone with a hip problem a huge deal.
Except the Islanders.
And probably the Oilers.
Honestly I would not be shocked if Hossa’s worm ass came back if they could manage to open up the space, which they probably can’t. But a lot of people think the only reason he turned down the deal is he hated Therrien. Can’t blame him.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:10 PM
*stupid enough
May 4th, 2009 at 10:12 PM
KKC – damn, Greinke is dealing, huh?
that was a MASSIVE rejection by Howard
May 4th, 2009 at 10:12 PM
I know, I love Staal. He’s been my baby since the draft. When he made the team out of mini camp I was so fucking happy. Leaving the game opening night against the Flyers I kept telling my roommates he was going to be a huge star.
But the thing is, third line centers who don’t score much don’t win you cups. But a lack of scoring wingers can cost you a cup. And he has shown he can score on the wing.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:14 PM
who wins in the freakish athleticism department?
lebron or dwight howard?
is it a draw?
May 4th, 2009 at 10:14 PM
celtics just can’t fucking get it past 9
May 4th, 2009 at 10:14 PM
are the refs really going to let scalabrine mug Lewis everytime?
nice matador D by big red against Turkoglu in the open court
May 4th, 2009 at 10:15 PM
Lebron wins, he won a super bowl with the browns.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:15 PM
is anyone else laughing at the orlando shot selection? just absolutely shooting 3s with no rhyme or reason or logic
it is comical
May 4th, 2009 at 10:16 PM
celts need the run now…not much time left
May 4th, 2009 at 10:17 PM
i know there was a 2 hr rain delay…but for a sox yanks game.. yankee stadium is fucking empty
May 4th, 2009 at 10:17 PM
Think Lewis has 1 point since Scalabrine started guarding him. So about 20 minutes.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:17 PM
celts thin court just reared its ugly head..that might do it
May 4th, 2009 at 10:19 PM
that shit was bizarre, and of course, it ended with a boston triple by big goofy red
pierce for 3! down to 6!!!
has dwight had a touch on the blocks in the last 5 mins?
May 4th, 2009 at 10:19 PM
my goodness
May 4th, 2009 at 10:20 PM
love this teams heart!
May 4th, 2009 at 10:20 PM
Alston should have just held that ball. Trying to move the ball after getting his hands on it was really risky, and obviously did not turn out well.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:23 PM
Big Baby with the moves!
May 4th, 2009 at 10:23 PM
big baby reversal, down to 4.
out of TO, the best orlando can do is a turnover against Big Red?
sad.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:24 PM
I don’t watch much NBA but is that not different from what they’ve done all season?
May 4th, 2009 at 10:24 PM
and orlando’s shot selection, and turnovers and cluelessness, too
i can’t wait to see the box score. howard has taken 12 shots. i bet pietrus and alston have taken that many. what a joke that is.
that’s like D Fish or devean george taking more shots than shaq on the 2001 lakers
gimmie a break
May 4th, 2009 at 10:25 PM
I dunno TBL. That is an ISO with Lewis, guarded by the Ginger from 10-15 away from the basket. It sounds good doesn’t it? Obviously did not turn out well.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:25 PM
horrible pass by rondo…horrible.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:25 PM
IN AND OUT NOOOOO
May 4th, 2009 at 10:26 PM
it is … but not what you do when you have a 28 point lead against Boston on the road.
OMG, first the ray allen miss, and then an 8-sec violation? with less than a minute left?? WTF
May 4th, 2009 at 10:26 PM
they were down 28 fucking points
May 4th, 2009 at 10:27 PM
good point. on paper, you take that.
BUT WHERE IS DWIGHT. how many touches has he had at the offensive end in the 4th quarter? excluding that put-back? if you said 2, i’d believe it
May 4th, 2009 at 10:28 PM
That’s not 8 secs. Stern strikes again.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:28 PM
It was 8 seconds. But that call should never, ever be made. That’s gay.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:29 PM
get the wheelchair for pierce
May 4th, 2009 at 10:29 PM
damn..so close to a comeback
May 4th, 2009 at 10:29 PM
No bailout for Pierce. Im shocked.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:30 PM
redick is gold at the line
May 4th, 2009 at 10:30 PM
was going to say the same thing.
JJ Redick? That is the guy they foul?
May 4th, 2009 at 10:30 PM
redick has been hitting the gym, huh? his arms are more ripped than i’d expect. the faux hawk is straight up 2006, tho
May 4th, 2009 at 10:33 PM
jj redick is like ray allen!
/ducks
May 4th, 2009 at 10:33 PM
Greinke – CG. O runs. 0 walks. 6 hits. 10 K’s. Maybe a 100 pitches.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:34 PM
i know its a win on a road…but can the magic seriously be happy with how they played?
if the celts don’t come out dead as a doornail they might win that game
May 4th, 2009 at 10:34 PM
Minus the lack of athleticism…or the ability to not look lost on D…or all the other aspects of basketball.
/otherwise, yep
May 4th, 2009 at 10:35 PM
boo’s for texiera already
May 4th, 2009 at 10:37 PM
Struck out with ducks on the pond?
May 4th, 2009 at 10:38 PM
nah..he just popped out with nobody on base
May 4th, 2009 at 10:38 PM
You forgot acting talent.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:39 PM
Duke apparently does not have a weight room. Only takes one look at their current team to discern that however.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:40 PM
Aside from the fact that it’s sunny, we’ve got food in our stomachs, and the trees aren’t exploding from Kraut artillery, yeah, it’s a lot like Bastogne.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:41 PM
that sounds like band of brothers
is that on right now?
May 4th, 2009 at 10:42 PM
new post for lakers game
May 4th, 2009 at 10:43 PM
Yeah. It’s not on right now, just the whole reach of ‘x is like y’ reminded me of it.
May 4th, 2009 at 10:44 PM
That was CRM’s favorite type of game, it proved both teams fraudulent.
