Following Up on John Wall’s B&E
1-liner, High School Sports, Recruiting May 6th. 2009, 1:45pmJohn Wall: No real update his citiation for breaking and entering, except that the ugly house was foreclosed upon, and thus empty. Seems like a scenario where a couple guys and a couple girl were looking for a place to hook up, and an empty house seemed as good a place as any. The incident supposedly won’t impact his recruiting, but People Who Claim to Know keep emailing us that he’s going to Kentucky. But the Wildcats got a pretty good guard today, so who knows. Decision day is May 20. (Chapel Hill News)

Bledsoe won’t impact it at all, think I wrote that last week, Wall doesn’t have to worry about playing time. Bledsoe still has to qualify as well, but he will be a backup for one year and then start his soph year.
Wall has been a UK lock since the day Cal left Memphis, this recruiting story has been the biggest waste of time. Just a PR stunt and a reason for him to have schools treat him like a king for a few days. Can’t wait to hear all these dumb Duke fans who think they have a shot cry.

Guys like Wall are the reason I hope basketball goes to the baseball rules for early entry.

I’m more shocked that Bledsoe went there, I didn’t even know that was on his radar.

not sure if it was true or not but florida backed off (he might have cooled on them) and from what I heard because of his grades. His coach or dad said that he only needs a B in a math class, then others have said his tests scores aren’t close. That being said UK got Liggins qualified somehow, so I am sure they can get bledsoe.
From my guy at Memphis, he said they had a pretty good idea the last couple weeks that weren’t landing him and had moved on.
That is why this move won’t impact Wall at all because it has been known for a bit that both of them would play together.
