Here’s one of the Megan Fox Esquire photos … here are those NSFW photos of Cassie … skipping political duties to play hockey? Cool … if only more people would listen to Elizabeth Warren … a political twitter observation … Lance Armstong dumped Sheryl Crow a few years back due to her biological clock … pretty depressing story to start your Friday …

Why they trying to stick Manny for his paper?*
/Can’t we still like the guy? He was the coolest Boston athlete besides Pedro in the early 2000s.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:17 AM
His Pro Bowl selection in 2007 and Favre’s in 2008 have to be two of the worst ever. At least in the past decade.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:19 AM
chasing baskets for an hour is a good cardio work out. shot all 3’s. a make was worse than a miss
/getting back in shape’d
/havent been told to pt in over 2 years
May 8th, 2009 at 8:19 AM
nope, can’t like him, ESPN says he’s the devil, that’s what he is.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:20 AM
OH MY GOD!!!
May 8th, 2009 at 8:20 AM
nope. I remember him horse collaring guys, and getting beat deep by Plaxico and Amani, again and again.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:21 AM
That Riley piece was good…
Kinda badass
May 8th, 2009 at 8:22 AM
Strongly thinking of making Friday’s “political Fridays” this summer. Nothing like getting the masses worked into a lather over political issues. I could try to interview Nate Silver. It’d be rad!
May 8th, 2009 at 8:24 AM
But he preys oh it! Hi-oh!
May 8th, 2009 at 8:25 AM
Roy would still be a ferocious hitter, if tight ends and running backs would just stand very still.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:29 AM
Buying those fake tits was the smartest thing Sterger will ever do in her lifetime.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:30 AM
you could interview Keith Olbermann, and MikeNYC’s head would explode.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:31 AM
Can’t believe you missed the KFC debacle, TBL:
May 8th, 2009 at 8:32 AM
Either Olbermann or Bill Maher would incite hysteria in the comment section. TBL has a surprisingly conservative base of commenters. SuperAndy leads the pack.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:36 AM
did you just lump Superandy into a group with MikeNYC? I’ll bet Mike doesn’t even have on darts championship. How dare you!
May 8th, 2009 at 8:36 AM
i bungled my own joke. that should say ONE, not on.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:39 AM
SuperAndy is a little to the right of Ghengis Khan…
May 8th, 2009 at 8:41 AM
Roy Williams? Super Bowl Bound Baby!
May 8th, 2009 at 8:41 AM
dont lump all of us conservatives in with SuperDouche bsanders
May 8th, 2009 at 8:43 AM
Hey, if saying “we’ll eventually find out what she did to get shot” is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:44 AM
or is it Attilla the Hun? I think i fucked that joke up…
May 8th, 2009 at 8:44 AM
My bad. I have no issue at all with fiscal conservatives, it’s social conservatives I really can’t see eye to eye with.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:45 AM
actually, i think it’s more along the lines of 60-40 democrats. most of the hate-mail i get re: politics is from republicans. by noon, i’ll have at least three people email me that the McCain-Palin thing was “bias.”
who knows what would have happened if i had linked this up (big fan of cute bristol palin!)
May 8th, 2009 at 8:46 AM
TBL has a surprisingly conservative base of commenters.
If by conservative base of commenters, you mean 1 out of 10 to 15, then I’d agree.
Either Olbermann or Bill Maher would incite hysteria in the comment section
Hannity or Limbaugh wouldn’t?
I dislike Maher, but hate Olbermann, Hannity & Limbaugh
May 8th, 2009 at 8:50 AM
People actually e-mail you regarding your political posts? Wow, that’s pathetic. I almost never agree with what you say, but I can’t imagine getting to the point of sending you an e-mail. Normally I just don’t read the post.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:51 AM
nah. but I bet you Glenn Beck would. Fetch would flip.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:52 AM
Thanks for that bit of insight.
Killing immigrants is hate-mongering, not conservatism. SuperDouche probably can’t even spell conservative anyway.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:52 AM
Laughable.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:53 AM
I have a like/dislike relationship with Maher. Love his New Rules segments, loved Religulous, love the panel format of his show, dislike his smarmy demeanor and penchant for continuously bashing conservative lightning rods with no new hook or creativity. It’d also be nice if he disallowed celebrities from the panel, but it’ll never happen.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:55 AM
agree.
i think Hannity’s a joke and i have zero interest in anything he says. the few times i have heard the guy i have just laughed my ass off and changed the station.
any mark levin (sp?) fans? wife is a big fan.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:57 AM
bsanders- you don’t care to hear what Ben Affleck thinks? come on, i mean it’s Ben Affleck!! It’s O’Bannion!
May 8th, 2009 at 8:57 AM
@bsanders: I hate his crowd as much as him. He delivers his stale quip, then holds the pause for way too long to let his sheeple deliver the human laugh track.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:57 AM
why are you so obsessed with immigrants? you always seem to be the one who brings up the topic. you’ve had a good history of commenting here, but in the last few months it’s been disappointing.
everything ok, man?
May 8th, 2009 at 8:58 AM
it’s too bad the only conservative/liberals that get any air time are the crazy, too far to either side, just really opinionated but not political “experts”, and not the real people that make up the majority of each political party.
I know a lot of conservatives who don’t buy into what the talking heads spout and i know a lot of liberals who aren’t as smarmy or douchey as maher/olbermann.
May 8th, 2009 at 8:58 AM
She was really a cheerleader?
May 8th, 2009 at 8:59 AM
No sharks comments? huge shark
May 8th, 2009 at 9:00 AM
TBL, he was referring to Super Andy.
May 8th, 2009 at 9:00 AM
get John Stossel…
May 8th, 2009 at 9:01 AM
Go ahead, we’re listening, let it out…
May 8th, 2009 at 9:02 AM
she wasn’t a cheerleader at FSU, just a front-row fan with giant boobs
May 8th, 2009 at 9:03 AM
He is quite the historian though. Didnt know Jesus was stoned to death.
May 8th, 2009 at 9:03 AM
They took our jobs!
May 8th, 2009 at 9:05 AM
Sterger and her bewb crew?
May 8th, 2009 at 9:05 AM
I couldn’t see the shark video. I was embarrassed to say that, because the problem is how crappy my computer is.
//new furnace >>> new computer
May 8th, 2009 at 9:06 AM
Nothing on Drew Peterson?
May 8th, 2009 at 9:07 AM
The comments on that shark story are funny. Quite the range over there.

@TBL: SuperAndy made a comment that someone should be lauded for killing immigrants. The guy’s an uber-douche.
Here it is.
May 8th, 2009 at 9:08 AM
Seriously, it’s like instapundit over here.
May 8th, 2009 at 9:11 AM
probably should have alerted me or SH to that comment. No need to have that on the site.
May 8th, 2009 at 9:13 AM
you know who’s good?
the cavs.
/yay
May 8th, 2009 at 9:15 AM
Hernia was around all weekend, putting up quality posts. It didn’t make any sense to alert anybody, because that’s all Andy does, is make horrible comments like that. Guy’s a loser (but also a champion).
That’s why it turned into the joke du jour, though, because everybody else just derided him all weekend.
/seriously though, sports hernia rocked last weekend.
May 8th, 2009 at 9:17 AM
i think Atlanta just turned it over, again.
May 8th, 2009 at 9:17 AM
Played a lot of pickup against Quinn when he was about 15. He was all arms and legs, about 5′10″ and 140 lbs and looked 12 years old. First time I played against him, I couldn’t keep the SOB from scoring.
My buddy, who was and still is much better than me, was on my ass about it. He took over guarding him. CQ scored 4 straight times on him from layups to 25 footers. I laughed at him for days, especially when we found out his age.
We talked to him afterwards to find out that the Opie look-alike was 15 and a freshman and was enjoying kicking our asses all over the court. Great kid, humble, smart, and just f’n lethal. Been a fan ever since…
May 8th, 2009 at 9:20 AM
how old were you when you played Quinn?
May 8th, 2009 at 9:22 AM
Just caught this re-reading the comments. Please, for the love of God and all things great, NOOOOOOOO!
Seriously, I’d be all against it. I come here to largely avoid grown-up topics and talk shit about sports (and Lost and movies and hot chicks and random other non-Earth shattering topics) all day. Politics make my head hurt.
May 8th, 2009 at 9:24 AM
Late 20’s… I think he graduated HS when I was 31… Seriously, that kid was unbelieveable. He didn’t look it until you put a ball in his hands. He still didn’t look it until he kept scoring and scoring and scoring…
May 8th, 2009 at 9:25 AM
but wally, don’t you want Arlen Specter’s opinion on how that one chick from that one TV is a fat pig? I know I do.
May 8th, 2009 at 9:26 AM
probably should have alerted me or SH to that comment. No need to have that on the site.
Jaysus,TBL I emailed you,and ranted about that comment over the course of 2 days and 3 topics.

NO! Summer movie post instead!!! do it!
May 8th, 2009 at 9:46 AM
Strongly thinking of making Friday’s “political Fridays†this summer. Nothing like getting the masses worked into a lather over political issues.
NO! Summer movie post instead!!! do it!
I agree. As much as I will jump into a political discussion, summer Fridays are mental blow off days. Why get worked up over some issue/comment?
You like lists. Make Friday “list day” (best comedy, best college football program, whatever). Mix in a few “hottest female under 25″, “hottest MILF”, and your page views and comments will soar.
Who knows? Maybe Dan Patrick & Fox Business will come calling again-lol
May 8th, 2009 at 9:52 AM
every other friday as political friday?
my bad, man. all i can say is maybe make the subject really eye-catching?
May 8th, 2009 at 9:54 AM
Note to self: Subject on all future emails to TBL should be “Check out these new Brady/Gisele candids”
May 8th, 2009 at 9:57 AM
if you want to make it really catchy, make sure to say Brady’s wearing a new hat.
May 8th, 2009 at 10:09 AM
Amen, TBL.
And to get TBL’s attention, just mention you have new shots of Kim Kardashian from a variety of interesting angles.
May 8th, 2009 at 10:29 AM
@TBL:
If you’re going to delete SA’s post (totally justifiable to delete it), you probably want to delete post #16 in that thread from Jake.

May 8th, 2009 at 10:40 AM
With some solid personal developments and that Sheryl Crow tale and this news, what a great day this is turning out to be! One more overdue bitch, also on the East Coast, out of the way and irrelevant on Sterger! Ha ha ha ha her southern flaunting and phoniness lasted only one season as the local New York sharks chewed up and spit her out. Back to the South you go BITCH!
May 8th, 2009 at 11:08 AM
The proof is that polarising douchebags like even Anne Coulter or Perez Hilton still get air time.
This one was ripe for posting, but for some reason TBL’s filtering software won’t let me take some overdue cracks at Republican types like Mike NYC, SuperAndy, and probably Reazzy. Note that I did not even use profanity in those posts, so go figure I guess this is sort of like China now when it comes to political discussion?
Note to Republicans: Lay off the Hannity and Limbaugh a bit more and realise that just because someone dissents with your views not just with mere opinion but with evidence and reason does not mean they support Obama or even the likes of a Castro or Chavez! And they also are not any less patriotic than you either.
Gee, why do the Democrats at least have their act together on the internet but still not Republicans? You want proof? Just have a look at the current GOP’s fearless leader and see how he “rolls” ha ha ha!
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0409/21932.html
May 8th, 2009 at 11:15 AM
And to heck with that idea of political Fridays …I vote for “Poon-Tang Fridays” instead TBL Godfather.
For those who want politics, just go to Washington DC Tuesday through Thursday if you want that or worse yet flip on CSPAN to see human drones in action campaigning who are not even on the ballot most of the time just like in Washington DC in our fantastic system of government here where somehow that 50%+1 majority magically just cannot be wrong. What a crock of shit when lobbyists usually represent the interests of those in the minority not majority!
For those of you in sorry-ass Metro DC or also with such experience, isn’t Crystal City, Arlington,VA like the live set of “The Matrix” before there was even that fine film? There is no way there are not either real drones and clones there or might as well be!
May 8th, 2009 at 11:26 AM
Totally agree, bsanders. I love his show but every time a celebrity is on their the conversation is sub par…especially if it is Gary Schandling. Dude is awful.
May 8th, 2009 at 11:42 AM
Paolo, politico is a joke. if you want some real comedy check out the comments section for the first article the post. it’s disgusting what people put in there. The ignorance is palpable.
May 8th, 2009 at 11:46 AM
Wilhelm, the video on the left is more relevant than the article in chase you missed that. From previous comments, it does not appear you are hung up still on the GOP, but if you still are oh well good luck with the current “leader” and Limbaugh.
May 8th, 2009 at 12:19 PM
haha, actually i’m not republican or conservative.
I didn’t see the video, but i can probably guess what it’s about if Steele or Limbaugh is involved.
May 8th, 2009 at 12:47 PM
Wilhelm, do yourself a favour and watch it, as it is brief. No you could not guess what Steele said. I guessed that you did not watch it by your remark. Most Republicans won’t watch it even though it comes from their figurehead party leader but not real leader. Heck their last president was not the real leader we all know that right? It was all about Darth Cheney’s empire and to some degree still is, and that is why they are failing miserably and are no longer really “Republicans” a la the years of Reagan before 1986.
