Larry King is a Stone-faced Liar, Part II
1-liner, Media Gossip/Musings May 20th. 2009, 6:00pmLarry King, Fibber: First Deadspin poured cold water all over Larry King’s horse racing story, and a reader unearths this epic 1991 story from the Washington Post where Mr. King (nee Zieger) was busted in another lie, this one involving Sandy Koufax. “And with that, out comes the most remarkable story of the evening. It involves the neighborhood in Brooklyn where King grew up, and a snowy night in November 1950, and two of King’s boyhood friends. One was Herbie Cohen, who remains one of King’s closest friends to this day. The other was ‘Sandy Koufax, later to become a Hall of Fame baseball pitcher.’” A couple of days later, Koufax called the reporter: Never been friends with King, that story’s garbage. I swear. I see his promos every now and then when I have it on CNN, and he must have Judge Judy and that Joy woman from The View on his show once a week.

And your BFF Cowherd was all over this thing today, calling the story “inspirational.” Guess he should have gotten a second source…

Oh geez this is not the first time for sure that King has been caught lying about his childhood and the like. Like anyone really cares anymore after he was caught over ten years ago? I guess he still thinks the vetting is as bad as it was before the internet was in mass use?
Kind is still and will always be the human frog though.
