Obama Bobblehead Giveaway: The West Virginia Power, a minor league baseball team, had ordered 1,000 Obama bobbleheads to be given away at their home game tonight. The bobbleheads arrived in L.A. from an unknown country on May 20 and remained under lockdown in U.S. Customs until yesterday morning, however, they will not make it to Charleston, West Virginia in time for tonight’s game. The bobblehead itself is of Obama in his high school uniform. Looks like a Nugget. (Here, here and here)

I have yet to meet anyone here, thankfully, who has found Super Andy’s common remarks anything but regularly distasteful, but our TBL Godfather with a spirit of tolerance for all points of view made the courageous decision to give him enough rope to hang himself today.
I can say MUCH less for Duffy here, as no doubt if anything but a hypocrite he would defend the comment in the name of “free speech” as he defends the mockery of multiple deaths 20 years ago by a journalist, despite Duffy’s disagreement with those comments as well, so that of course that journalist can keep his PAID job, considering of course that one is paid nothing to blog here of course, but the rest of that is for another day he’s dodging that discussion now. But wait until he says something to put down Super Andy or any other commenter in that same foul “free speech” breath of his — I’ll call him out on that. There are lines even to the notion of free speech. You can do it anywhere on the globe, but there are consequences and responsibility not just mere freedom.
