How excited are you right now? It’s the matchup that almost no one was clamoring for and the first game was a blowout. Jameer Nelson has returned and muddied the Orlando point guard situation. People are worried about what Nelson’s return is doing to Anthony Johnson. I find this humorous.
Kobe is 1/4 of the way to elevating his legacy after a sick Game 1: 40 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 blocks. He also unveiled a scowl, which was apparently a story. I saw it on SportsCenter. That’s how you know he’s ready for his first post-Shaq title.

OK, i have a fast story, and you all have to endure it. Today, I was up at the neighbor’s (he’s putting in a dirt bike track for his kids, borrowed my tractor). Went up w/ the dogs/baby/wife to say hi, check that all was well. Wife/baby drove home, we were gonna walk. He asked for help with a tree that he’d felled, but felled in the wrong direction due to rottenness. So we had to move a big (3 foot diameter) tree, cut in sections, away from his pond and the maintained area around the pond. About 10 feet, down an embankment.

I dash over to check the noise..we’re rolled a giant log over a brand new baby fawn that was hiding in the bushes. Just horrid. The thing was alive, but probably wrecked with internal injuries. The 7 year old kid, once he grasped what was going on, turned white as a sheet. I let the poor thing hop off, and kept the dogs from chasing it to sniff at it. I probably should have killed it.
