Traditionally, N.H.L. games draw a TV audience only one-third to one-quarter the size of the N.B.A.’s.” Someone emailed us the hourly breakdown, and it started at 5.78 million at 8 pm, rose to 7.27 million at 9 pm, and at 10:30 the audience swelled to 9.07 million.
